I’ve just read the ECB transgender rule policy out today. It says that are going to move to a model where eligibility will be determined according to whether an individual has undergone male puberty. That isn’t perfect, but it isn’t self ID. Have I missed something?

That's only in women’s international cricket ie at a professional/elite level. The vast majority of women cricketers play at a local/grass roots level and their teams will be forced to accept trans-identified males based on their self-declared 'gender identity'.
