Monday 26th July - Witch Burning In Academia
SEX MATTERS: A post-graduate student at the London School of Economics & Political Science wrote and presented a misogynistic paper involving violent fantasies of assaulting women.
Matt ‘they/them’ Thompson is studying for an MSc in Gender (Sexuality) at the LSE.
Earlier this year, Thompson wrote a paper entitled “Trans Endemics: Embodying Viral and Monstrous Threat in Times of Pandemic”. He has now made his Wordpress account private but, luckily, there is an archived copy.
This paper was presented at a conference in April 2021 at a session called No Time, No TERFs, No Norms. Thompson was then invited to present this paper at a conference organised by doctoral students from the LSE’s Department of Gender Studies.
You may remember that only a month ago we wrote about this department and its mendacious attempts to defame the Open University Gender Critical Research Network in a (now deleted) ‘statement of solidarity’.
No wonder they were so keen to platform Thompson’s violent fantasies about assaulting gender critical feminists.
This is an excerpt from his paper:
“If TERFs think trans is an endemic threat to feminism, let us be the threat to feminism. We are the endemic, the viral, the toxic onslaught of ideology that attacks the very core of what you hold dear. We go unnoticed, right up until the moment they scream for mercy.
Am I a threat to you? Do I send chills down your spine?
Picture this: I hold a knife to your throat and spit my transness into your ear. Does that turn you on? Are you scared?
I sure fucking hope so.”
Tuesday 27th July - The Clocks Are Striking Thirteen In Scotland
THE TELEGRAPH: Scottish civil servants are being urged to take a ‘pronoun pledge’ in government-backed ‘transgender inclusivity’ plans.
Around 8,000 civil servants will be ‘encouraged’ to include pronouns in their email signature in Scotland’s latest genuflecting to gender identity ideology.
However, the plan has provoked opposition from civil servants and there is concern that staff will be coerced into compliance. An internal survey showed that the majority are resistant to the scheme with around 60% unwilling to add their pronouns to their email signatures.
This ‘pronoun pledge’ initiative is backed by the Scottish government. That’s the Scottish government who can’t bring themselves to say the word ‘woman’ even when talking about pregnancy.
Wednesday 28th July - Witch Burning In Westminster
LESBIAN & GAY NEWS: Rosie Duffield is under attack, yet again, from the gender zealots in the Labour Party.
Last year Labour MP, Rosie Duffield, was vilified, by members of her her own party for making what should be the wholly uncontentious statement that only women have cervixes. She was smeared as ‘transphobic’ in a vitriolic attack and received online abuse and death threats.
Yet again, she has fallen foul of Labour’s gender fundamentalists and is suffering another barrage of abuse. LGBT+ Labour were tripping over themselves to join the fray, smearing her as having endorsed ‘homophobic and transphobic’ content. Momentum were calling for her suspension and for the party whip to be withdrawn.
What had Rosie Duffield done to receive such censure? She’d ‘liked’ a tweet by a gay rap star who objects to the colonisation of the word ‘queer’.
How closely the gender stasi must monitor her social media use. And how desperate they are to dive on any spurious opportunity to scream “Witch!”.
Many gay, lesbian and bisexual people spoke up in Rosie Duffield’s defence, refuting the ludicrous allegations against her. However, a Labour spokesperson commented, “The Labour Party takes all complaints of homophobia or transphobia extremely seriously. This complaint will be fully investigated.”
Keir Starmer has remained silent about this witch-hunt and still allows misogyny to run rampant through his party.
But that’s hardly a surprise.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the house, Boris Johnson’s LGBT Rights Envoy, Lord Herbert, is keeping his lips tightly shut over trans activists bombarding JK Rowling with threats of rape and murder. Nor is he condemning the abuse and threats levelled at other feminists trying to protect their sex-based rights.
Thursday 29th July - Nobody Asked Muslim Women
Thanks to @RadfemBlack for drawing our attention to this story of a young Muslim woman pressured to remove her hijab by a trans-identified male.
This story was posted on Reddit’s “Am I The Asshole” section where people ask other users to judge whether or not they’ve behaved badly in a certain situation.
A young woman organised a friend’s bridal shower. She usually wears a headscarf for reasons of faith and was looking forward to being able to remove it, showing off her newly dyed hair, at this all-female event.
On the day, this woman realised that one of the guests, invited by the bride’s sister, was a trans-identified male called Tori. She felt uncomfortable removing her headscarf in male company so abandoned her plan and just kept quiet.
When questioned about her previous intention to show off her hair, she was forced to admit there were guests in front of whom she wasn’t comfortable doing so. She was told that there were no men present and that she should remove her headscarf. She never mentioned Tori during this exchange but, nevertheless, he intervened.
“Tori comes over and says me not taking it off is a slap in the face to her identity… Tori gave the ultimatum that I have to take it off as a sign of respect or they would leave. I said no. They ridiculed me, my faith, and even the bride and others for defending me. They were blatantly hateful towards my religion.”
Eventually, when this young woman refused to remove her headscarf, Tori and a few of his female supporters stormed out.
A man can try to intimidate a young Muslim woman to break a sacrosanct canon of her faith just to validate his gender feelings and somehow he’s the injured party?
In 2018 the Hampstead Ladies’ Pond ceased being a single-sex space when the City of London Corporation decreed it must open its gates to anyone who ‘identifies’ as a woman. This means that Orthodox Jewish women who used to swim there are no longer able to do so. Halacha, Jewish law, permits Orthodox Jewish women to undress with other females but it is forbidden for them to disrobe in a male’s presence. (Not that women should have to justify the need for male-free spaces, of course.)
They can dress it up as ‘inclusivity’ all they like, but adherence to gender identity ideology means excluding women, especially those of certain faiths and cultures. For many women it is impossible to share intimate spaces, such as changing rooms and public toilets etc, with a member of the opposite sex. Even if he is wearing a dress.
Many women will no longer be able to use supposedly single-sex facilities and services if they run the risk of encountering a male. This means them having to withdraw from certain areas of public life. Enforcing self ID rules and ‘gender neutral’ spaces further marginalises already marginalised groups. This is the great, glaring elephant in the room which gender ideologues refuse to address.
Friday 30th July - Witch Burning In Scotland
BBC NEWS: An SNP member has been sentenced after making threats of sexual violence against Joanna Cherry MP.
On 1st February this year, 30-year-old Grant Karte sent Joanna Cherry a number of violent threats by private message on Twitter. Earlier that day Cherry had been sacked from the SNP’s Westminster front bench after erroneous accusations of transphobia were made against her for speaking in defence of women’s sex-based rights.
Karte pleaded guilty to the offence and admitted sending messages that were ‘grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character’. Nevertheless, Karte has managed to avoid a custodial sentence and, instead, has received a community payment order and is banned from contacting Cherry for five years.
Joanna Cherry has issued a statement about the failure of the SNP to speak out against Karte’s actions and the culture within the party which encouraged him. She spoke of the target on her back placed there by the irresponsible accusations of transphobia.
“At the time of his offence Mr Karte was a member of the SNP… I am very disappointed that no one in the SNP hierarchy has acknowledged or condemned Grant Karte’s threats towards me despite his criminal conviction… I have not received the same support as other women who have suffered abuse, often a good deal less serious and falling short of criminality.”
One of the SNP members responsible for putting that target on Cherry’s back is Ricky Taylor, the party’s new Complaints Officer.
Saturday 31st July - Doctoring Reality
WEB MD: American medical professionals are advocating for the removal of sex as a legal designations from public birth certificates.
The American Medical Association (AMA) said last week that biological sex should not be recorded on public birth certificates since it places, “Unnecessary burden on individuals whose current gender identity does not align with their designation at birth”.
Willie Underwood III, MD, who authored the report making the recommendation, stated, "Assigning sex using binary variables in the public portion of the birth certificate fails to recognize the medical spectrum of gender identity".
Jeremy Toler, MD, said that ‘gender nonbinary’ individuals are disadvantaged by the recording of sex on birth certificates. "We unfortunately still live in a world where it is unsafe in many cases for one's gender to vary from the sex assigned at birth."
Medical professionals, the very people who should uphold and defend scientific reality, are so ideologically-captured they pretend that sex is ‘assigned at birth’ and talk of a ‘medical spectrum of gender identity’.
Last December, we reported on sex re-assignment treatment being a business opportunity rather than a healthcare issue.
Global Market Insights published a report on the sex reassignment industry, describing it as a ‘growth market’ and highlighting opportunities, such as the various surgeries involved, to maximise profits.
Gender is big business. Especially for American doctors.
Sunday 1st August - First Do No Harm
MAIL ON SUNDAY: Trainee psychotherapist, James Esses, was expelled from his masters course and sacked from Childline for questioning the transing of children.
James Esses was a volunteer counsellor at Childline and three years into a five year MSc psychotherapy course at the Metanoia Institute. He became increasingly alarmed about the way vulnerable children with gender dysphoria are being rushed down a medical pathway without proper exploration.
He was also concerned about proposed legislation which would prevent clinicians from providing appropriate talking therapy for patients with gender dysphoria. Esses discussed this issue on social media and set up a public petition, hoping to safeguard therapy for children suffering distress around their gender. This petition caused a social media backlash and resulted in him being the target of abuse.
Without any warning he received an email from Metanoia's deputy chief executive, Professor Carrie Weston, telling him he had brought 'negative attention' to the institute and terminating his student contract. (Esses is now taking legal action against the Metanoia Institute and has a Crowdjustice funding page.)
A couple of weeks later he was summoned to a meeting with the head of Childline, Shaun Friel, and told that his volunteering contract was being terminated with immediate effect.
Despite three years of study and spending thousands on tuition, Esses was summarily thrown off his masters course and after five years of volunteering his time as a counsellor he was dismissed from Childline.
And all because he wants to protect vulnerable children from irreversible harm.

The one that stands out for me is the Muslim woman who refused to take off her head scarf. One of the many many evil effects of this ideology is that women of certain faiths can't attend single-sex events any more, so they can't go to the pool or gym to exercise and socialize. And a TIM demanding that a Muslim woman remove her head scarf - just pure sadism, power-tripping and misogyny. Good on her for refusing.
I am from the U.S. Over the weekend I read this statement by the AMA (American Medical Association) I instantly felt like I had been gut punched & could not catch my breath. I had faith that the AMA would stand with science.
I believed with all my heart that they would be the one institution that we all could count on to stand strong, & not be captured by this dangerous ideology. Wow! Do I ever feel betrayed to the core of my being. If people cannot trust the AMA to believe in & stand for science (reality) My heart breaks. I will resist!
