This Telegraph article is terrifying. Men can make women feel uncomfortable in all sorts of ways without touching them or masturbating in front of them. Women in hospital often wear nighties, and may be asleep more than usual. I hope I don’t have to go to hospital.

"Because this man’s partner, though female, ‘identifies’ as non-binary, the man was refused a place on the programme.

Yet another example of how the uncritical application of gender ideology harms women. A female victim of male violence remains in danger and, whatever her preferred pronouns, she cannot identify out of it."

Just everyone stop with this pronouns garbage. You are a man or woman. How are people supposed to know where to put you.

She should just say she is a woman and a man was beating her.

I am losing sympathy with all these people now.

Good morning! Alan Driscoll is still a knob and Ben Lewis Waddington is my new best friend.

UPDATE: Chris Chan has been moved to a male facility. Apparently the state of Virginia said "fuck your pronouns" and have declined any truck with this nonsense.

"One of the phrases journalists were instructed to avoid is 'Born male/born female’. Furthermore, feminist campaign group, Fair Play For Women, was listed in the 'media misinformation' section, described as an “Organisation formed with the express purpose of fighting against transgender equality”."

Who is this behind the power exerted on the media, and the rest of society?

When has any social justice! ideology! etc had such a hold?

No one votes for this … no referendum or election!

Every thing I see is greedy, deviant people who are getting so much money they are gone past caring.

They have power, riches and a "respectful" outlet for their perversions (gender reassignment, pornography).

Good opinion column in the Irish Times today regarding conversion therapy from Stella O'Malley and colleagues. Will be interesting of course to see the blowback it gets from the usual quarters, but it puts the conversation in front of people who might not otherwise see it.

Yip this is a movement to erase women to ensure men can continue to beat, harrass, abuse, deprive and neglect their obligations to women and children on steroids..excuse the pun. As if it hasn’t been bad enough as it has been these rabid misogynists are taking oppression and erasure of women to the next level and it’s a consequence of there having been no consequences for their bad behaviour or setting appropriate boundaries and calling out extraordinarily bad behaviour for far too long. It’s not a coincidence free speech is at risk now either.

This is a good 20 minute video. The BBC is just a part of a tyrannical regime, let us never be persuaded by the lack of logic. https://youtu.be/09maaUaRT4M

Great work as always, Graham.

It's so clear this mess continues unabated because of the pressure/'charity' groups who've wormed their way in to all the institutions.

Without them, we'd be back at pre-2010s normality and everyone would've been happier.

I wish I was smart enough to figure out a way to make the public see what the groups are really doing to our youth/people/society.

Here is my reply from the BBC regarding my complaint about the article and subsequent threat.

Dear No L......... (No?)

Thank you for contacting us about an article on the BBC Sport website.

This article – while not a profile piece - contains some key details about Laurel Hubbard’s sporting journey to the Olympics and why her appearance at the Games has caused so much controversy. It explains how she lived as a man for 33 years before returning to sporting competition as a transgender woman in 2017 and looks at the criteria for the Tokyo Olympics which meant that she was able to compete in the women’s weightlifting category. This aspect and the debate around it was the main focus of the piece. The BBC does not, and did not in this article, take an editorial position on Hubbard’s inclusion in this year’s Olympic Games.

The article sets out the policy employed by the International Olympic Committee and adopted by the International Weightlifting Federation which allowed for Laurel Hubbard’s inclusion. It details the previous changes to the policy and the likelihood that the policy will change again in the future. It also sets out some of the latest scientific research into gender transitioning and sporting performance, both from scientists who argue that transwomen have an unfair physical advantage, especially in a sport such as weightlifting, and those that argue the science is not yet clear on the issue when all the factors related to transitioning are taken into consideration.

We included opinions from those in support and those against Hubbard’s inclusion, including Save Women’s Sport Australia, as well as other current weightlifters.

We maintain that this piece appropriately reflected all sides of what is a divisive and complicated subject in a way that was accessible for a large, mainstream audience, and that the language used helps make the many different aspects clear to readers and reflects that used in current conversations on the topic of trans inclusion in sports used by relevant groups and authorities.

Thank you once again for getting in touch and we have shared your concerns with our BBC Sport team.
