Leave Them Kids Alone #1 Better late than never, there is to be a review of the use of puberty blockers at Ireland’s child gender service. Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE) is to review the prescribing of puberty blockers for minors. A study into the impact of the treatment on children with gender dysphoria is expected to begin next year.

The line from boundary-smashing 'queer theorists' (why dear God, O why?) to Miriam Cates needing to put forward a bill to make Sex Education for children transparent, and reviewable by parents, is a direct one. Strange how often this boundary-smashing line leads right to the question of sex and children. Hhhmmmmm.
p.s. Don't you just love the phrase 'Remedy Judgment"? We're going to need a lot of those.
Miriam Cates is such a breath of fresh air. She's the very model of a committed, Christian Conservative - the building blocks of traditional conservatism, in fact, which is criminally lacking from most of the others in her party. She's bright (and beautiful) and totally on point. I contacted her once about a related issue, not expecting to hear back from her, given that I'm not a constituent of hers. And yet she found the time to write a relatively long reply, personally, including email addresses of people she thought may be able to help with my query. She's an absolute star - too good to be PM, unfortunately, despite what she would bring to the table.

Have you had a look at the archive here? There have been a few interesting articles and comments sections on exactly this. It's sometimes possible to pin down roughly how something came into common usage (to sound like an etymologist or like I've swallowed a thesaurus).

But many thanks to the Employment Trib for supporting Maya all the way through to this week's marvellous result for her.
The wonderful expression 'worthy of respect in a democratic society' comes from the Grainger case 2010 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grainger_plc_v_Nicholson which gave protection to belief in climate change. Since then veganism has become a belief WORIADS too, as has belief in Scottish independence. I love the quirky legal sense of humour that brackets our rights in with those of an SNP vegan climate change activist. Though it would be better if the tribunal had recognised that we are talking about straightforward facts. Thank you again, Maya and the legal feminists who fought for this major turning point

I can't be in the business of contacting women trapped in these marriages, but if anyone here happens to know this poor woman, please give her the info. Video soon at Trans Widow Ute Heggen channel, on the results of 20 Questions for a Trans Widow survey. The sexual/emotional abuse is shockingly high. If the "Dutch Protocols" can be a result of 33 exit surveys in 2014, from individuals now deciding they're furry, or "non-binary" in the expensive follow ups of DeVries et al, then I can use survey results from 34 (and growing) trans widows. Lavinia, my most recent subject, tells of repeated rape, social isolation and impoverishment after the split, a common thread.
My Pascal -- fortunately labeled a shepherd mix by the pound, which saved his life -- would love to have a little girl decorate him! He doesn't like adults, especially men, but he thinks other dogs (ALL other dogs) and children are delightful. When he's going for a ride and sees dogs or children, he makes the same squeaking, longing sound. His foster mom's grandson asked, "Where's Pascal?!?" Foster mom: "He got adopted." Grandson: "It's SO boring around here without Pascal!"
I looked up adoptable pugs, but they seem to be rather dominant dogs. ??? And Pascal is not a dominant dog so I'd rather not have someone pushing him around.

Fantastic news from Maya. I must admit I didn’t hesitate to contribute to her crowd fund but after the news last week about banks policing their customers’ beliefs and closing accounts I’ll admit, I’m nervous about the crowd funder for Adult Human Female. That’s how the activists work of course, it IS terrorism, in the dictionary definition of the term. So I will plough on. Can’t let them win this one. Too much at stake.

One boy is pretending to be a girl and the boys tell him to man up and refuse to use his female name. They refuse participation in the ABC activities on the whole.
