Nothing will be right until all GRAs are smashed to smithereens, all GRCs rescinded, for no man must ever be pronounced 'legally female', nor any woman pronounced 'legally male'. It's all a nonsense...and at present, I assume that if Mr. Idul chose to GET a GRC he would be allowed to remain in his post? What a crime this all is, against women and girls, against intelligence, against truth, and, against the legal system, which is made to look insane by Transworld's disastrous 'TMAW/TMAM' campaign, and the GRA itself, which I'm certain that any good lawyer could bring down in moments, for how can lies be deemed to be legal?
Great news that Police Scotland might just be starting to wake up from their Intelligence Hibernation at long last...and that Women's Sports in Scotland is getting support too.
Yeah, if a "GRC", and subtraction of his penis/testicles, officially makes a man into a woman by law... is that all we women are, then? Castrated men? "The Female Eunuch" indeed...
Too sadly true, isn't it? In fact, I'd go even further: as far as the transologists are concerned... we're only a fantasy. In men's heads. That's what's real. "Women" as they imagine us; as we "ought" to be. We, flesh-and-blood women, are just a pale shadow by comparison.
So of course a "transwoman" would be more real than an actual woman. Since "she" exists ENTIRELY in a man's head, by definition.
In Scotland the battle intensifies to protect the interests of women and children in the light of the GRA legislation being put before Parliament. Somehow we have to let young people know there is another way to deal with their issues. I would be interested in a series of podcasts by those who have already been down that road talking to and investigating all those concerned eg young people wanting to transition, those who have tried it, detransitioners, medical personnel, politicians, GC groups, parents, educators etc. young people like Sinead Watson and Keira Bell have already shown that they can handle the public eye and so would be well suited to such a platform.
This morning I went to my new public library, I'm checking out a couple of Ian Rankin novels, and the young woman next to me informs me that her pronouns are he/him. I said, "I don't DO pronouns, they are a trap." Her LESBIAN mother told me I could use they. I said I don't do pronouns, she/her refers to adult human females. Her mother's nitpicking response: She's a teenager (and, yes, I think she said she). I wish I had turned to the teenager and said, "You'd better start learning now that no one cares about your pronouns."
