Once there is a debate you can really see why they clung on to #nodebate. BTW, did you see Sharon Davies on GMB yesterday? She was bloody amazing. You could see the surprise in the presenters eyes when she demolished their points. The world turns...
Her books now dropped into my kindle but I’ll have to wait to read it , I’m in the middle of another one
Would hate to get the two of them confused
Either Bunny McGarry would try hold sensible debate with the bad guys and get ignored or Sharon would go hell for leather , fair or foul to get them put to rights
This is indeed good news, after the depression of the update! Thank you. Slowly, slowly, peaking occurs, in the general public and in the medical establishment. This goes to show that the hard slog of the foot soldiers, led by the heroes like KJK, Joyce, Forstater, JKR, Bindel, Phillmore, Fair Cop, and soooooo Many others, is working. I'm not sure the war will ever be won. I don't think this genie is going back on the bottle, but I do think that with every frothing screech at women speaking and every fake man boob fondled in public, headway is made to peak the public. I'm amazed at Australia taking a sensible approach medically. I thought they were lost forever. Good news indeed.
I’m ashamed to admit that Kirsty Blackman is a fellow Scot! How a woman and a mother can be confused about her chromosomes is astounding. That she has a vague notion about her genitals even more so given that she pushed two children out of her vagina nine months after her husband on two occasions had impregnated one of her eggs after depositing his sperm via his penis into her vagina. I guess biology not her strong point but as she’s a nationalist little else will be either!
Do you think scotland will ever back down on the mutilation of children? My daughter fast approaching 16 and it’s scary. Thank goodness at last the cat is getting out of the bag in some places
In a survey covered in the Times today only 2% of the population in Scotland thought the gender issue was important. So much noise has been created by this under Sturgeon that you could believe Scotland is a paradise for pretendy men masquerading as women. In fact we have very strong womens rights groups fighting this constantly which is why it gets so much publicity. Hence the Sexmatters.org party up here last week in Edinburgh. The fight goes on to make sure that vociferous minority of blue haired wokists do not intimidate teachers, politicians, the NHS or the police into thinking they have to kowtow. So Mum Fighting Back we are with you and will never give up on our children or grandchildren.
Thank you❤️ it gives me some hope there is still a chance all this will be over for us one day. Just pray that day comes soon. It’s exhausting and depressing living in my shoes and all the other parents going through this nightmare. Thank you for your support x
MFB, i do hope your situation has improved. It sounds like your daughter is still having issues. i am so sorry. I wish we could help the parents battling this within their own homes with the people most dear to them.
Still an ongoing reality in our house. Some days it’s so hard to just put it out of your mind, afraid today has been such a day. However tomorrow is a new day just need to get in with it x
Sorry MFB, i wrote and it posted it twice and deleted it twice. I was just writing to say that i think you are amazing and i’ve no idea how i’d respond to what you’re going through. Complete admiration for you for what its worth.
John Hopkins “non-man”. WTF. Is it a riddle? The answer surely is a “woman”. Oh wait. There are over 100 options now. Silly me. But then you have to guess? And if you get it wrong, here comes the plod to arrest you? John Hopkins Report Card - really must try harder in driving education by using plain English to create understanding. 0/10. Recommend this University. NO.
Johns Hopkins are going to have a bit of a shock when their investigations into how all that happened reveal the trans activist they employ is the one doing this.
I was listening to the radio this morning when they played a song by the 80s band "Three Non-Blondes". It made me chuckle in light of the Johns Hopkins situation.
You are quite correct - I missed the full name if the band, substituted incomplete memory, and didn't check before posting! I'm glad you know what's going on 😁
Thanks, Jeremy though eventually one of them was a bloke - the others were lesbians and one of my favourite bands of the 80s albeit they didn't last long.
You have inspired me to include their great hit single 'What's Up' in my post tonight:
It was so long since I'd heard "What's Up" that if anyone had asked me, I would have said with absolute confidence it was called "What's Going On?"! I don't think I knew the members were lesbians - was it kept quiet at the time? They fell into a time in my life where my time spent reading the music press had dropped off due to work and new interests.
I'm glad something useful came out of my half-correct original post - the song and the band deserve remembering!
Hi Jeremy. it is totally baffling as to why it was called 'What's Up'!? Logically it should be 'What's Going On'. You're right they deserve remembering. I know that the lead singer married her girlfriend. Unfortunately one of these bands who disappeared - like Martha and the Muffins- remember them?
BTW Rita Panahi reports on Sky News Australia about a young woman who got zero for her homework because she referred to a 'biological woman' - I kid you not - I'll include in my post later
Thanks JL, positive news, but after yesterday’s post which was just brutal and relentless, goodness we need this sorted out. Got to get the laws sorted and nail it down so children can understand the gravity of all this- and vulnerable adults. Lets hope that debate leads to swift and meaningful legislation. and thanks for sharing my silly cat song, hopefully it will of some giggle to a couple of the hard working resistance and be shortlisted for the turner prize alongside that mr piss man from yesterday. Bless him, what a nobhead. Sexual frustration+the internet= mr piss man.
When I was a youngster these self-absorbed, attention-seeking idiot young lads weren't given the time of day. Now they're given a platform at The Tate. And thanks for the cat song - it's proving very popular and quite right too!
JL, i’ve never been offered so much as a residency at any of the major art galleries. SO UNFAIR. Its weird how our culture seems to promote the talentless. I think sometimes its to maintain the fantasy that a lot of people hold that anyone can be a star and adored by millions. I can’t think of anything worse. Much better to just be able to chill out. I listened to an interview with a composer the other day and she lives on a light house in the middle of nowhere in scotland, and she said that she loved the sea, one reason being it reminded her constantly how small she was. And she liked that and said she thinks its important to feel small. We can be small and irrelevant but still be kind in our little lives. Much better. Sorry ranting again. Must be the build up of caffeine. Thanks JL.
Someone online posted a study of how much people's mental health improves when they're outdoors surrounded by the big, big, big, world. We may joke about these males stuck in their parents' basements, but how much of human absurdity is due to spending one's life in human-created environments?
It's an increase of 7 percentage points, not 7%: so it's actually even more and even better news! (Autistic techie here so nitpicking goes with the territory ;) )
the Oxfam CEO was on a 3 month 'sabbatical' when this gender shit hit the press - he was already offered the new job i bet. Another highly paid non job. Fuck knows who would take Oxscam on now.
Trying to be fair, the process for moving jobs at that level is quite tricky. There aren't a huge number of them, and he may well have been interviewed months ago, but the process for moving out of his existing role might involve ensuring someone else is in post before he can go. The sabbatical sort of backs that up.
Today I self ID as a posh baby. All the rage. (Actually suffering from a tooth abscess and gum infection to am eating Miss Ella's organic baby food from Waitrose.) On this issue, I trust that the school where a Year 8 pupil self ID's as a cat has provided her with a litter tray in the corner of a classroom, a nice comfy bed on top of a high cupboard, a scatching post and a good selection of Sheba and Dreamies in the canteen.
Hats off to KB though. She has provided us all with a good laugh!
Thanks a lot for sending me down a rabbit hole looking at how to tell the gender of a cat! If for some reason you can't get under the tail there are other ways to tell and it turns out that adult cats do show a degree of dimorphism and males have fuller faces , broader noses, be more 'jowly' etc and just look 'male' and females tend to be smaller and more delicate. We had a kitten, pre-internet days, who we assumed to female as it's quite hard to 'sex' a kitten, but as it grew I could just tell it was male. We mammals do recognise tiny differences. We had to rename him as he didn't like being called Fluffy, but that was just his preference.
Cat sexing can be difficult, but, yes, it's quite easy when clued in to the body-shape differences. Colours help, too (though not definitive) - for example, a calico is very likely to be female.
I think I've been lucky. I've had three ginger and white males (well, one was more a glorious auburn colour I haven't seen on a cat since - think red setter), and they were all very gentle, but huge! One was killed by a car before he had much chance to develop a personality, the second used to ride across my shoulders like a stole, and the third was a rescue (again hit by a car) - partially blind, rebuilt back leg and pelvis, brain damage, but he was the happiest cat you can imagine!
I love that, I can just picture him. We had one we called Cufflinks for similar reasons. Now I'm a dog convert, though still have a very old cat who is top of the household hierarchy.
In the video linked below, I read the reply letter to me from a land trust non-profit that suddenly uses pronouns in their bios, despite the fact that all of the employees just happen to be in heterosexual relationships (I've known them for more than 5 years) and do not "identify" out of their sex. The lack of justice for trans widows, who usually do not get child support from the porn-sick ex-husbands, and who are called "birth mother" while the ex who fathered the children say he's "mother." Next month, look for my interview with Tammy Peterson, wife of Dr. Jordan Peterson, on her eponymous youtube channel.
The Gallup Poll makes perfect sense to me. Until a couple of years ago, I gave no thought to transgender people because, like so many other people, I thought it meant mainly transsexuals and that they were a tiny group. Now that the consequences of trans activism are becoming known, it is right that a greater number of people are against transgender rights.
Yes, but they are still bringing the trans issue to the general public and in fact, every time they call a man in skirt 'they' or 'she' the comments usually are along the lines if "it's a man".
I read The Times and to be honest, the comments are very similar to those on Glinner without getting removed.
The problem is the IPSO guidelines that all MSM have to follow. The DM whilst following the pronouns guidelines usually makes stories quite clear that they are blokes - refferring to their previous male name plus showing a photo of the ladies.
This week I am identifying as a non-cat. This is mainly because i am not very good at leaping on top of wardrobes. Non-miaow!
Talking of cats, great song by CB. On our little platform we are countering Pride Month with our own Gender Critical Month and each post features a song, poem or speech. We have already featured CB's song :) In the interest of balance, we also this month featured a song from another mutual friend, Robbie Spence:

O wait , I quite like that plot
I can just hear the Radio 4 adaptation now!
JL I love that you know Bunny , I was being a smart arse 😂😂😂😂
Caimh is my favourite
Oh I know Bunny - a rollicking good read! What's not to love about a trilogy with seven books in it??! 😂
And another 57 on the go 🤣
Bwhahaha
Do you have a link please? I'd love to watch it.
I couldn’t find a link nor could I find it on catch up
I did find her interview with Morgan on YouTube and I would imagine it would contain much of the sameness
Looking forward to her book dropping on Thursday
Sorry, I just watched it on catch up. It was on GMB yesterday

And on a much less serious note, I’d like to say how much I enjoyed ‘Don’t misgender my cat’. 😂
To be fair, cats are 'trinary' - girls, boys and its.
?
Sounds a bit Cat-holic...
Girls, boys and bonkers more like :)
Dusty
People always thought my cat was a girl because he was pretty. He was such a cutes.
Yes, I forgot to mention that too. Fun song!
To be fair, cats are trinary - girls, boys and its. Though I think my two its, Tom and Freddie, ID as boys.

Bat shit crazy Blackman has been ridiculed ( and rightly so ) by everyone with a brain cell never mind the right chromosomes

Of course they do! It reminds me of having to "study" why someone driving way too fast while impaired got in an accident!
I don't believe they didn't know that already :)

Oh gosh, Jane, that sounds painful! Hope you're on the mend and back on solids again very soon! Take good care xx
Getting better, but even the baby food hurts. Trying out Ella 's Lamb Tagine soon. Taken some Solpadeine to prepare my ragged nerves.
Ha ha very good Jane that did make me giggle!
Of course under the 2004 Animal Welfare Act I trust the girl is being given flea and worm treatment and has been spayed.
Dreamies are off with the woo woo. We have moved brand!
Dusty
NB For the cat that is :)
Yay 🌹
Apologies , thanks as always JL , was running ( well a fast shuffle ) out the door when this came in

Yes, and gingers tend to be, though not always, males. And rather aggressive ones at that in my experience!

I'm trying to think of the opposite of Fluffy :)
Dusty
It would have to be Hank, or Rock or Chuck wouldn’t it.
I have a vision of a cat owner going to the back door and shouting “ROCK”
😎

I might have missed it on Glinner (if so, sorry for the repeat) but the Daily Mail (doing a great job for us) had a report on the power behind the woke bullshit https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12155603/Investment-firms-blame-woke-campaigns-claims-ex-AB-exec.html they have a few updates, including DeSantis going after Black Rock.
Yes, but they are still bringing the trans issue to the general public and in fact, every time they call a man in skirt 'they' or 'she' the comments usually are along the lines if "it's a man".
I read The Times and to be honest, the comments are very similar to those on Glinner without getting removed.
I think the Times are the best and seem to be on some mission on this issue - followed by the Telegraph
Dusty
Yes, both of them are on the case. The Telegraph really went after Mermaids last year.
The problem is the IPSO guidelines that all MSM have to follow. The DM whilst following the pronouns guidelines usually makes stories quite clear that they are blokes - refferring to their previous male name plus showing a photo of the ladies.
We are waiting..and waiting...for updated IPSO guidance after a consultation that ended ages ago
Dusty
NB Darn, I said something sensible again! :)
