Oh wowser!! All this gorgeously good news from the Tories - provided that they don't renege on their promises - and even more gorgeously splendid news about * polishes Cilla's accent* "our Graham"! Front cover of the Telegraph Sunday supplement is an amazing feat. Not only that, but his book is out this week and both my copies will soon be on my shelves. (One's a Christmas present, so hands off!). What a week!! I can almost sense the smell of hope in the air!!!
The Tories realise that trans is a weakness for the Lab/ Libs/ Greens/ SNP/ and the (laughably named) Womens Equality Party- theUK public don't want this trans garbage. I hope that Lab, Libs and Greens etc realise that, and chage their policie,s also stop vicitimising their Gender Critical members, and return to common sense.
Thanks JL, there is a lot to be encouraged by, particularly the stance on aken by the women's swimming in Virginia. It's inspiring to see young women finding their voice and expressing their feelings in this way, and making the men trying to prevent this, hearing the word NO. I hope it's a word misogynists and assorted bullies start hearing more and more frequently.
As for what the Tories claim, it all sounds good, referring to important and necessary changes. Will these changes go ahead, though? I hope so, but politicians have a bit of a reputation if saying stuff people want to hear, then forgetting about the things they committed to, or find that their plans and intentions can't legally go ahead, etc.
Great about Graham's book, I'm looking forward to reading it, and I hope its success leads to a lot of professional and personal success for him. He certainly deserves it.
