Marion's arrival at court was the stuff that biopics are made from! Let's hope that some enterprising filmmaker somewhere - not Hollywood - will lay her story down on celluloid for posterity. With Glinner writing the screenplay.

I'd pay good money to see that!

I fervently hope and pray that we are. The alternative is far too grim and doesn't bear thinking.

Sitting in the sunshine with my mother and her elderly mates, who came round for tea and are now group peaking as I MAKE them listen to your Andrew Doyle interview. They started off open mouthed, they are now furious and swearing like troopers 😂

OMG thanks for this, JL 😘 Not gonna lie, had a little ugly-cry watching Mr Menno's video of Marion's arrival. She's "The Ultimate Warrior" Woman, as are you and all her supporters, all over the world 💪🙏✊👊♀️

So happy for Sonia Appleby. She was so appallingly treated for her bravery. Frankly, she deserved more but at least this is adding another nail to the Tavistock coffin.

I nearly cried with emotion watching the American women chanting in support of Marion Millar. I do hope that 'wheesht' will become the word of the year in next year's OED.

The positive thing to have come out it seems to me, is that women in Wales are now becoming more vocal. All well and good.

As for the radical feminists who helped Afghan women escape, great article and a chance to donate to this worthy cause.

I would love to see david paisley's head do what it does in that last panel.

A mighty fine read, thanks very very much.

Worth comparing the pics of Marion outside court with the image chosen by Auntie's news: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-58395138

Did anyone go to Femme Fest (https://femmefest.co.uk)?

It would be interesting to know how this policy worked in practice.

"You may be asked to show ID to show that you identify as female. Individuals unable to show prove [sic] will be refused entry."

As I AM female and would never use the lie-promoting jargon phrase 'I identify as female', would I and others of like conviction be refused entry?

And how would anyone "prove" one is "Female". A "trans identifying male" can only "prove" he is "legally" a "female" if he has been granted a GRC. If not, he is still legally male.

Methinks FemmeFest is not really for women at all.

I expect most of you already know about the LGB Allance conference in October. They write that they are looking for a professional singer to perform on the night. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox/FMfcgzGljljqwhtnDMMcMVFlXxNvcWhQ

I really must try again to get my hands on this fascinating book. It clarifies so much.

In essence, let an entitled narcissist indulge in their (mostly his) fantasies, and this is what we get. It seems to come from the same place as men who act out their rape fantasies.

Not sure why we've evolved the ability to fantasise since some fantasies can be so damaging to a person and those around them.

I thought so too. Especially the stuff on Michael Bailey's children. Horrid malice.
