Monday 11th October - The New Conversion Therapy
4W: The founder of a charity for victims of child sexual abuse has hounded a young lesbian on TikTok over her ‘genital preferences’.
Tashmica Torok is the founder and executive director of The Firecracker Foundation, a charity which works with children aged 3-17 who are survivors of sexual violence. According to the charity’s website, Torok “incites riots of generosity and advocates for the healing of children and families every day.”
Hard to square that description with the woman who spent hours bullying and blackmailing a vulnerable young woman for being a lesbian.
A user called @jennytheballerina, a 25-year-old lesbian from Texas, was subjected to 5 separate videos in which Torok attacked her sexuality and described her as ‘transphobic’ and ‘hyper focused on genitalia’. When Jenny brought up the issue of sexual boundaries, Torok told her, “If we are hopeful about creating a community where trans people are not being murdered more than anybody else and particularly black trans women, we need to really unpack some of the ways we talk about our bodies”.
Torok tried to tell her that lesbians are responsible for attacks on trans people. “I will challenge unapologetically any idea that causes more violence to people in my community. And, that’s what gender preferences ultimately lead to, violence against trans people.”
When Jenny asked Torok to stop talking over lesbians, she laughed and responded, “What you’re experiencing, is my fucking grace, okay? And I will speak over you if you’re being transphobic.”
Following these exchanges about ‘transphobic genital preferences’, Jenny felt compelled to create a new TikTok account to proffer her apologies to trans people and entreat for forgiveness. For being a lesbian.
"I am sorry. I did not want to punish trans women by denying sexual access to me by rejecting preop trans women. I am going to a therapist to cure my repulsion… it's transphobic to be repulsed by penises… Trans women are women and I always believed that. The last time I tried to cure my repulsion, it led to a suicide attempt. That's why I was so defensive. Hopefully she has safer methods we can use so I'm not hurting trans people with my genital preference."
Shame on Tashmica Torok. A woman who works with vulnerable children has emotionally blackmailed a young lesbian, browbeating her into giving up her boundaries and accepting ‘therapy’ for her sexuality.
By the way, something the 4W article doesn’t mention is that Tashmica Torok has a trans-identified son who ‘came out’ earlier this year.
Tuesday 12th October - Witch Burning In Academia
A trade union has sided with a bunch of anonymous thugs against a respected lesbian feminist academic.
Following last week’s harassment of Professor Kathleen Stock, you’d expect her trade union to speak out against the appalling threats to her job and her personal safety. Instead, it has done the opposite.
The Sussex branch of the University and College Union (UCU) issued a ‘Statement In Support of Trans And Nonbinary Communities at Sussex’, effectively throwing Professor Stock to the wolves.
“In the light of recent events on campus and ensuing public response on social media, we extend our solidarity to all trans and nonbinary members of our community who, now more than ever, should receive the unequivocal support of the University and its management…
We urge our management to take a clear and strong stance against transphobia at Sussex. Now is the time for our University leadership to uphold the institution’s stated values by ensuring that the dignity and respect of trans and nonbinary staff and students, and their allies, are enshrined at the core of the University’s culture…
We welcome the University of Sussex Students' Union (USSU)’s statement of solidarity with our trans and nonbinary community and defence of students’ right to protest, and extend our strongest support to the USSU and its officers in their commitment to standing up for all students at Sussex.”
This is the sort of student whose ‘right to protest’ Sussex UCU is defending.
A friend sent me this screenshot of an email from a member of the Sussex UCU Executive Committee. (Note the she/her pronouns in the signature.) It demonstrates how the committee is handling any challenge to this despicable statement; by concealing their contact details and waiting for ‘the Twitter storm to play out’.
And this is what the Shadow Secretary for Women and Equalities had to say.
Taiwo Owatemi openly admits she isn’t familiar with Stock’s work but denounces it anyway. She attacks the LGB Alliance based on hearsay and rumour, demonstrates a shocking ignorance about the use and implication of puberty blockers and upholds a baseless and anti-science ideology.
Of course Owen Jones applauded this travesty.
These are sad days when trade unionists, a Labour shadow minister and a Guardian journalist side with a bunch of masked goons against a lesbian feminist…all for the benefit of crossdressing, straight men.
On Sunday The Times ran an article detailing the 200 academics who’ve suffered abuse, slurs, threats and attempts to have them sacked for their gender-critical views.
One of those mentioned is Professor Jo Phoenix. She is bringing an employment tribunal claim against the Open University for failing to protect her from a campaign of harassment that has made her working life unbearable.
“My hope is that this case will force universities to protect female academics from the vicious bullying perpetrated by those who disagree with our beliefs on sex and gender; bullying that is designed to silence us and our research.”

Wednesday 13th October - I Can’t Believe It’s Not Parody
THE DAILY MAIL: Cambridge University freshers are being provided with a “How to Spot TERF Ideology” guide from their student union.
Cambridge University Students Union has produced a guide on “How to Spot TERF Ideology” for new undergraduates.
The eight page document denies the reality of biological sex and insists that ‘transfeminine’ people (ie males) must be elevated within feminism and included in female-only spaces. It accuses ‘TERFs’ of hating and harassing trans people and of associations with the far right. And, of course, the guide counsels most strongly against students debating with a ‘TERF’ about their views.
The author of this offensive garbage is Cambridge SU’s newly appointed women's officer, Milo ‘they/he’ Eyre-Morgan.
Thursday 15th October - Leave Them Kids Alone
THE TIMES: A couple are bringing legal action against the government due to the ‘transgender guidelines’ being implemented at their children’s former school
Nigel and Sally Rowe who live on the Isle of Wight took their children out of the Church of England school four years ago due to its transgender guidelines. A little boy in the same class as their six-year-old son had begun ‘identifying as a girl’. His ‘gender identity’ was affirmed by the school and he was permitted to wear a skirt etc. This confused the Rowe’s little boy to such an extent - he couldn’t understand how a boy can suddenly become a girl - they began home-schooling him.
The couple have now instructed a legal team and intend to seek a judicial review over what they describe as a failure by ministers to challenge the local authority’s transgender guidelines. Mr Rowe explained, “This is not just about boys wearing dresses. This case is about an ideology that is now embedded in schools, local authorities, and Church of England leadership, and is causing serious long-term harm to thousands of children.”
Friday 15th October - The Stonewall Tentacles
BBC NEWS: Stonewall ‘dictated policy’ to the Welsh government.
A document uncovered by broadcast journalist, Stephen Nolan, for his podcast documentary on Stonewall’s reach, reveals that the Welsh government has adopted Stonewall's misleading ‘interpretation’ of the Equality Act 2010. In the Welsh government's latest Equality and Diversity Policy, the term ‘gender reassignment’, which is a protected characteristic, has been replaced with the term ‘gender identity’, which is not.
Labour MP, Tonia Antoniazzi, said, "It is astonishing that the Welsh government can so blatantly misrepresent the Equality Act 2010 as dictated to by Stonewall. They are promoting an ideological culture and rewriting the Equality Act at the same time. To misrepresent the law in this way shows a contempt not only for the law, but also to anyone who wishes to speak up for women or who has concerns around safeguarding.”
Furthermore, a report in the Times reveals that the Scottish government, a member of Stonewall’s diversity scheme since 2013, has removed the word ‘mother’ from its policy on maternity under Stonewall’s influence.
Again, the result of a freedom of Information request made by Stephen Nolan, confirmed that Stonewall wrote to the Scottish government last year, ‘encouraging’ it to use the language of its ‘inclusive policy toolkit’. The word mother now no longer appears in Scottish government documents about maternity leave.
Saturday 16th October - Too Little Too Late
THE DAILY MAIL: The Loudoun County Public Schools superintendent has apologised for ‘misleading’ parents over the rape of a 15-year-old-girl.
In June this year Scott Ziegler addressed a crowded school board meeting during a discussion about its new ‘transgender policy’, regulations which allow students to use bathroom facilities based on ‘gender identity’ rather than sex. He told the meeting “To my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms” and he claimed that “The predator transgender student or person simply does not exist”.
It has been revealed that a 15 year-old-girl at a Loudoun County school reported being raped in a school bathroom by a male ‘wearing a skirt’ only a month before this meeting took place. Stone Bridge School reported the attack to the police but the board has tried to claim that its members were ignorant of it.
The girl’s father, Scott Smith, broke the story in the media last week. The local sheriff’s office confirmed a report of forcible sodomy and sexual battery accordant with Smith’s account of events. It also seems that the 15-year-old boy accused of attacking Smith’s daughter was reportedly under court-ordered electronic monitoring having been charged with sexually assaulting another student on school property just five months earlier.
Smith believes that the school board covered up his daughter’s assault and is bringing legal action against it.
Scott Zeigler, superintendent of the school board, has now apologized for failing to ensure the safety of Loudoun County students and for ‘misleading’ parents.
But the brutal sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in the very place she should be safe, her own school, isn’t deemed worthy of resignation, it seems.
Sunday 17th October - Foxes In The Henhouse
THE MIRROR: The government is to spend millions accommodating male prisoners in female prisons.
It has been confirmed that the government is going to spend £150million installing 500 new cells for trans-identified male inmates in women’s prisons.
It’s like Karen White never happened.
Also Today - The Misogyny Of Trans Activism
UNHERD: Trans activists protesting the FiLiA conference in Portsmouth this weekend “Behaved like they wanted a war, not dialogue”.
FiLiA is a female-led volunteer organisation with charitable status which works to promote women’s rights . It’s annual conference focusses on ending male violence against and male oppression of women and girls.
Of course, an event centred on female issues is unconscionable to trans activists and they showed up at the Guildhall in Portsmouth to rage against it.
In evidence were the now familiar aggression and insults; placards threatening sexual violence outside the venue while women spoke of rape and domestic abuse inside.
Predictably, most of the people involved were males.
Astonishingly, the protest was officially supported by Amnesty UK.
A protest against women gathering to discuss the oppression and violence they suffer is backed by “The world's leading human rights organisation”.
At the end of the event, there was a vigil to honour the victims of femicide at which the names of the women killed by male violence over the past year were remembered.
As Julie Bindel writes, that this memorial had to take place on a pavement defaced with such violent, misogynistic graffiti “Is as heart-breaking as it is infuriating”.
