Monday 23rd May - Leave Them Kids Alone #1
THE EVENING STANDARD: A school head believes ‘transgender children’ should be able to choose which toilet to use and which sports team to play on.
Barry Mansfield is the director of Halcyon London International School in Marylebone where fees are £30k per year. He told The Standard that there is ‘no safety issue’ with ‘trans students’ choosing which sports team they wish to play on. Mansfield also believes that pupils should be able to choose which toilets to use and has installed mixed sex facilities at the school.
£30k pa seems like an awfully high price to pay for one’s daughter to be treated like a second class citizen at her own school.
Also Today - Men Make The Best Lesbians
REDUXX: So-called ‘lesbian’ magazine, Diva, has made a trans-identified male the star of its Pride Month cover.
Diva magazine, founded in 1994, was originally intended to be a ‘mainstream lesbian magazine’. But now, published by Linda Riley, it bills itself as a ‘leading brand’ for ‘LGBTQI women and non-binary people’ and its target demographic includes males.
Emily (formerly Zach) Bridges has been cycling competitively since his early teens.
In 2020, aged nineteen, Bridges began ‘identifying as a woman’ and he started hormone treatment last year. Nevertheless, he continued to compete on male teams in men’s events until very recently. In February he competed on the men’s team at the University Championships. He won an individual gold medal in the men's points race and a bronze medal in the team pursuit event.
In March Bridges, who is six feet two inches tall, announced his intention to compete in female events. However, just before his first competition, cycling’s international governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), ruled that Bridges was not eligible to race in the women’s division.
Now DIVA is celebrating Bridges by making him its Pride Month cover star for June and validating his claim to be a lesbian.
Lesbian activist and journalist, Eva Kurilova, called DIVA’s decision ‘lesbian erasure’. She said, “To chronicle the ‘coming out journey’ of a heterosexual male as a lesbian in a lesbian publication is absurd… Lesbian magazines that happily put a man on the cover and consider any lesbians who object to be bigots deserve none of our attention and support”.
Tuesday 24th May - First, Do No Harm
THE DAILY MAIL: An NHS hospital will be providing ‘masculinising surgical treatment’ to trans-identified women as young as seventeen.
The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is to provide a new in-house NHS medical service specialising in ‘female-to-male’ surgery. A spokesperson for the hospital said the service will ‘provide lower masculinising surgery’, ie hysterectomies, the removal of ovaries and skin grafts to construct faux organs resembling male genitalia.
Phalloplasty is a procedure which involves skin being removed from the patient’s arm and surgically manipulated to mimic a penis. Complications and adverse side effects (such as an urethrocutaneous fistula, an unwanted opening in the groin area which can leak urine) are very common. A 2021 medical study of patient-reported outcomes of this procedure showed that “Complication rates, including urethral compromise and worsened mental health, remain high for gender affirming penile reconstruction”.
Referrals to the Tavistock Clinic rose from about 700 per year in 2014-2015 to more than 2,600 in 2019-2020. These figures predominantly involved young girls believing themselves to be boys. This huge and sudden spike of adolescent girls identifying as trans gave ministers cause for concern.
The recent Interim Cass Report noted that, of children seeking treatment at gender services, “The largest group currently comprises birth-registered females first presenting in adolescence with gender-related distress”. It also states that, “Many of the children & young people presenting have complex needs, but once they are identified as having gender-related distress, other important healthcare issues can be overlooked”.
But the NHS is opening a specialist service to provide vulnerable young women as young as seventeen with irreversible, life-altering surgeries.
Stephanie Davies-Arai of Transgender Trend told The Daily Mail, “The new service is specifically targeting females, many at an extremely vulnerable age in school or college, who believe they want to be male. Masculinising surgery includes... invasive surgery on female bodies which can never be reversed. There is no research on whether those undergoing these non-reversible operations later change their minds”.
Wednesday 25th May - The Clocks Are Striking Thirteen In Norway
REDUXX: A Norwegian feminist campaigner is facing three years in prison for calling out a male ‘lesbian’ on social media.
In January 2021 Norway expanded its penal code to include ‘gender, gender identity or expression’ in hate crime protections, despite warnings that this could prevent feminists from defending their sex-based rights.
Christina Ellingsen is a representative of feminist organization, Women’s Declaration International. She is currently being investigated under the Norway’s hate crime legislation for comments she made on social media between February 2021 and January 2022.
The tweets in question were addressing a trans-identified male, Christine Marie Jentoft, who not only claims to be a lesbian but also describes himself as a mother.
He is a representative of a leading Norwegian trans activist group, Foreningen FRI.
Apparently, he ‘eats TERFs for fun’ and warns women ‘Do not test me’.
In 2018 he caused controversy by inviting ‘Queer kids of all ages’ for a ‘mom hug’.
The charges against Christina Ellingsen’s concern her comments about Jentoft’s belief that males can be lesbians. One of her so-called ‘hateful’ comments asked, “Why [does] FRI teach young people that males can be lesbians? Isn’t that conversion therapy?” A second tweet read, “Jentoft, who is male and an advisor in FRI, presents himself as a lesbian – that’s how bonkers the organization which supposedly works to protect young lesbians’ interests is. How does it help young lesbians when males claim to be lesbian, too?”
For this supposed ‘hate speech’ Jentoft filed a police report against her.
While the investigation is ongoing, if Ellingsen is found guilty, she could face a prison sentence of up to three years.
Also Today - Sex Matters
THE DAILY MAIL: A trans-identified female who misled women into believing that she is a man has been jailed for assault.
Tarjit Singh (formerly Hannah Walters) deceived three women into pursuing a physical relationship with her by convincing them that she is a man. She used a prosthetic penis and various devious strategies to trick her victims. When they became suspicious, she was aggressive and abusive.
In court this week she was convicted of three counts of assault by penetration, six counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and one count of making a threat to kill. Melissa Garner of the CPS said, “These victims have been deceived, betrayed and lied to in the most disturbing and traumatic of ways”.
Thursday 26th May - Men Make The Best Women
OFF ROAD: A trans-identified male has won a national level cycling race despite British Cycling suspending its ‘trans’ policy.
Last month we reported on trans-identified male, Maxine Yates, being listed as the ‘fastest female’ in the ebike category at Tweedlove’s Ridelines Enjoyro races.
Yates was in the news again this week having won the women’s 19+ category in British Cycling’s downhill national series event at Fort William.
British Cycling suspended its ‘transgender & non-binary’ policy in April, pending a full review. Consequently, trans-identified males are not currently able to compete with or against women in elite competitions.
Yates told The Times that British Cycling gave him permission to take part in the women’s competition. “As I already had a licence and was not competing at an elite level, I was allowed to compete, is what BC informed me... I have followed their rules.”
Friday 27th May - Within These Walls #1
REDUXX: A female inmate has spoken out about the ‘nightmare’ of having to share prison accommodation with trans-identified males.
In April we reported that two women at New Jersey’s female prison are pregnant after having sex with trans identified male inmates.
The Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women (EMCFW) currently houses 27 trans-identified male prisoners and (clearly) does not require them to have had or be undergoing any hormone treatment or reassignment surgery. The facility was forced to accept trans-identified male inmates last year thanks to the settlement in a lawsuit brought a trans prisoner with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
This week, one of EMCFW’s female inmates, Miseka Diggs, spoke to Reduxx about the nightmare of having to share accommodation with trans-identified males. She said that the women prisoners are ‘scared to death’. Many of them have been victims of male violence so the presence of men in the facility is causing them severe anxiety.
“We can’t express our feelings in fear of being put in protective custody, [which] is like lock-up. If you use the wrong words you will be uprooted and removed from your living quarters. So many women walk around in fear.”
Diggs described her distress at having to share the prison’s shower facilities with Neil LaBranche (now known as Nikita Selket), a man of six feet seven who is serving a 30 year sentence for the brutal murder of his roommate in 1995.
Another violent male incarcerated at EMCFW is Perry Cerf, a sadistic rapist and murderer with a long history of violence against women.
Diggs believes women’s rights were being ‘tossed out the window’ in order to secure votes and political careers. “We feel like we are part of some sick joke. This is a nightmare that we can’t wake up from. The women here are traumatized over and over again and it seems as if no one cares about our needs. We feel like second-class citizens with no rights.”
Saturday 28th May - A Room Of One’s Own
WOMEN ARE HUMAN: A trans-identified male who was asked to vacate the female changing room at his local gym has forced his way back in despite knowing his presence makes women uncomfortable.
The young man at the centre of this story from Castellón, Spain, calls himself Aurora Ibanez. He uses the social media handle @laninadelantro (ie ‘the girl of the joint’) and the name ‘La Niña’ (ie ‘The Girl’).
However, the photographs he posts, sporting chest hair and stubble, make it clear that he’s male.
On Instagram he posts photographs of himself with the hashtags #dragmodel #dragrace and #dragshow and describes himself as cross-dressing and a ‘boy in heels’.
However, that didn’t prevent him from using the female shower and changing area at a Basic Fit gym. When a woman complained that his presence was making her feel uncomfortable, he was asked by a staff member not to use the female facilities. He then took to social media to try and intimidate the gym into reversing its decision and described himself as ‘a trans girl’.
He also appeared on a local news outlet claiming to have been a victim of transphobia.
Under the pressure of media scrutiny, the gym backed down and Ibanez was allowed to use the women’s changing room and shower facilities. His response was to express amusement at women’s need for safety and privacy and give them the emoji finger.
So now the women at Castellón’s Basic Fit gym have to share their changing room and shower with a man who parodies their sex and gloats about his making them uncomfortable.
Also Today - Labour Losing Women (Whatever They Are)
THE TELEGRAPH: Stella Creasy claims that men can be female and that women can have a penis.
As part of a much longer interview with The Telegraph, Labour MP for Walthamstow, Stella Creasy, discussed her support for her party’s self-ID policy. “Do I think some women were born with penises? Yes. But they are now women and I respect that… I am somebody who would say that a trans woman is an adult human female.”
So, just to be clear, Creasy believes that the sex class ‘female’ is also open to males and that women can have penises.

Also Today - The Laughable Policeman
THE TELEGRAPH: Some police forces are allowing criminals to be recorded as non-binary and claim to be ‘aware of 67 recognised genders’.
Seven police forces in England and Wales are allowing criminal suspects to be recorded as ‘non-binary’ on their computer systems, despite the term having no legal definition or recognition.
Furthermore, the Norfolk and Suffolk constabularies are allowing suspects to describe their gender as ‘unknown and unspecified’ because they are “Aware there are a growing number of terms associated with gender and sexuality”.
A spokesman for both forces said that they recognise there are ‘67 different genders’ as which people can present.
Incidentally, the Suffolk Police force is one of Stonewall’s diversity champions, as was the Norfolk Police force until 2017.
Lisa Townsend, Surrey’s Police and Crime Commissioner, told The Telegraph, “We can’t police by anecdote” and she stressed the importance of recording accurate crime statistics by sex. “If police stop someone going 90mph in a 50mph zone, but they only identify as going at 47mph, we would find that laughable. So to not collect accurate data about someone’s sex – not their gender – is ludicrous.”
Sunday 29th May - Leave Them Kids Alone #2
THE DAILY MAIL: A trans-identified male ‘breastfed’ his hour-old son despite clinicians warning that this could be harmful to the baby.
Trans-identified male, Jennifer Buckley, is a paramedic from Brisbane, Australia. When his wife was pregnant with their child, he was determined to ‘feed’ the baby when it was born. So he increased his usual dose of oestrogen and started taking the anti-nausea drug, domperidone, which has been found to stimulate milk production in pregnant women, in order to facilitate his desire to mimic breastfeeding.
There has been limited research into chemically inducing lactation in males and little is known about the potential risks to infants. The practice has been criticised by medical specialists as experimental and unethical. Hospital doctors warned Buckley that his attempt to feed the newborn could put the baby at risk and distanced itself from his decision. But he still went ahead.
“To know I could breastfeed my own child and have that experience, I wanted to be a part of that. I wanted to know what it was like to be a mum and breastfeed.”
Using a baby to validate a male’s delusions of womanhood, despite risks to the infant’s health, is not without precedent. Read this account by Dana Fried (below), in which he describes ‘feeding’ his baby daughter immediately after his wife had given birth.
“When my baby attached to my breast, there was an incredible chemical cascade that ran through my entire body like lightning. Imagine the most electric thing a partner has ever done to you, then multiply it by 10… And yeah, I kind of got off on it. Don't judge.
I might have been my daughter's sperm donor, but breastfeeding was how I knew I was going to be a mom. It validated my womanhood as much as any surgery ever could.”

Also Today - Within These Walls #2
THE DAILY MIRROR: A trans-identified male accommodated in a women’s prison was caught having ‘drunken sex’ with a much younger female inmate.
A 43-year-old convicted murderer who is an intact male but ‘identifies as a woman’ was housed in the female estate at HMP & YOI Bronzefield.
According to the Daily Mirror, the man is said to have got drunk on illegal home brew with a ‘much younger’ female inmate and the pair were subsequently found having sex.
Bronzfield is a purpose-built facility which opened in 2004. Operated by Sodexo Justice, it is described as “A dynamic and forward-thinking women’s prison which accommodates a diverse and complex population of women”. Bronzefield is a prison and a young offenders institution, so it houses a number of female teenagers. (You may recall it was in the news last September after the death of an infant when an 18-year-old girl had to give birth alone in her cell.) It also has a mother and baby unit.
According to a prison source, the trans-identified male, a convicted killer, at the centre of this story ‘had free rein to move around’ the institution.
The source also told the paper, “A lot of women in that prison are troubled and vulnerable. Things like this shouldn’t be happening… This is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that male sexual predators are allowed to declare themselves as female and allowed to transfer to female prisons.”

I want to take every single man that says that there is not a safety issue with letting men and boys into womens and girls spaces and pop them into a room with a lion and tell them that the lion identifies as a human and there is no safety issue. That headteacher for example. I know this is Reductio ad absurdum, but then so much I see and read around genderwoo is, and there are people that are taking that so seriously a woman in Norway may go to prison for naming reality. It all makes me spit with rage.
Thank you for drawing further attention to the situation in Norway, JL. Christina Ellingsen and other feminists are being put through torment for standing up, speaking out and for simply telling the truth - men are not, and cannot be, women and lesbians. This is an important test case for recent changes to Norwegian law - that were hastily adopted and protect gender identity fulsomely but do not protect women's rights in any way.
