Phew, thanks JL all that is very cheering.

What a lovely gesture by Lynne Pinches' local club! I think it just shows ( and see WOLF poll) how Joe (and Josephine) Public will be on our side of the argument.

Nick Fletcher is going in our hall of fame I think 😊 and also a former prime minister...

Will the government back Liz Truss's marvellous bill - at last a chance for them to do something really positive. I couldn't see that Kemi B answered this question directly in the Commons today?

Great to see the increasing fightback within universities who have been the breeding ground for this gender woo which then seeps into government and organisations.

Well, that certainly improves on the original 'I'm a Barbie Girl' 😂

Thanks again

Dusty

Thanks for some excellent news stories JL. It’s particularly heartening to see women standing up for their sports and that support for gender crap is falling even in California.

That music video was very educational and helped to explain different styles of music. Would love to have heard a Vaughan Williams version. 😁

Thanks very much JL.

Thank you JL. Heaps and heaps of thanks for your hard work.

Could we finally be witnessing the actual turning of the horrific tide that is 'gender'?

Whoop! Thanks again JL for a fab good news update! The more these freaks and weirdos keep coming the more people will see what’s really going on, and it’s so good to see people pushing back! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 God I’d love to be able to play the piano…

I wonder if Barnsley's greatest mistake, Sally Hines, will be joining the Sheffield AFAF... 😁 😁

I love the picture at the top!

Thanks JL. Always great to hear good news from California as it went further & faster down the gender ideology rabbit hole than a lot of other places, so it's heartening to see its citizens starting to realise what all that "kindness" is actually about. Likewise Canada which was an early adopter of gender woo and now has the biggest child-safeguarding marches.

Will be interesting to see how many UK citizens agree with Kemi Badenoch's latest statements - I'm guessing most of them do.

Getting angry again. Asked to see all the RSHE stuff they are going to vomit out on my son at school next year. Over my dead f-ing body

Kemi Badenoch's barnstorming appearance in the HoC yesterday might help change their minds, CB! She made it clear the spouting of gender ideology in schools is going to be stamped out.

I didn’t hear that JL. That sounds really promising.

Oh it was a game-changer! She was an absolute tour de force. The era of 'No debate' is over.

Brilliant, and thanks for the link JL. Will watch tomorrow. Wish she was in charge. We urgently need something major to happen for the sake of child protection.

Yes and soon. And we're not that far from an election, watching the Tories shoot themselves in the other foot yet again. Meanwhile the interestingly-gendered wings of the Labour party just have to stay silent and this sh*te continues apace.

I really hope so JL. I’ve not really recovered from the news that the nhs are still prescribing drugs to children. I just can’t get over it. At least whilst i thkught they weren’t being used it sort of gave us some breathing space. Now its just like panic. i’m always bloody telling people what they already know so i’m sorry but i’m just at a loss as how a society can fail children so profoundly- and adults. Just because you hit 18 shouldn’t mean everyone stops caring. So upsetting.

I know this is almost virtually impossible to do with things that are very serious and causing great damage on a suffuse or wide scale - but we individually can't shoulder the whole burden of what is being and has been done (pick any number of things, like wars or this). Please gently remind yourself of that - it helps when I feel that panic that something should be done and soon. It's what happens when you are a bystander or a witness (like survivor guilt) and as a whistleblower. It can motivate you, but let yourself not get over it (if that makes sense?). Try to have faith it will change and not let your own conscience beat you up :-)

saw a bit of that JL, thanks. just listening to radio 4 anti social with Stephanie Davies-Arai on our side and some other guy on the other Leo i think. I’m only half way through. Its not analytical enough, the guy is putting sexuality in with trans the whole time, and referring to ‘trans kids’. Stef should be allowed to take on that bullshit- maybe in the second half. Anyway, just wanted to put it on your radar incase its not already! best wishes

sorry JL, it’s frustrating the bbc anchor keeps saying… transgender students, over and over. F-ing they don’t exist. A compassionate society supports children without labelling the shit out of them. So annoying.

I hope you’re going to speak to them CB.

i did a year ago, and its not a pleasant experience. But i got to try again. I’ve had enough now Ms Terfin. Its all going to kick off before Christmas and i’m not looking forwards to it. Thankfully another parent is getting really involved but it just means a lot of difficult conversations in the near future with people to try and get them on side which i’m dreading. Its easy to talk here because we all think the same on this. But i’ve found as soon as i open my mouth outside, you know you have to start from the beginning. It’s exhausting and i’ve had enough.

I’m really sorry to hear this CB. It’s a nightmare and I just don’t understand how more people can’t see the harm that is being done to children, or if they do see it, they just don’t seem to care. Getting people to talk through the issues is so difficult. If they don’t cut you off, they just ignore you and switch off. Best wishes with it, let us know how you get on x

thanks Ms Terfin.

tbh Ms Terfin, i’m going to have it out with the schools again and then i think i need to stop worrying about his for a good few months. Try and reset. I’m consumed by it Ms Terfin. And i think i’m in danger of melt down. A bit of a self indulgent message but you know Ms Terfin, I’ve reached saturation point! I can’t understand why the state is presenting faith as fact and its like a feedback loop. No one really gives a shit and its upsetting me. I know lots of people do and i know so many have given so much in the fight so i’ve no roght to bale but. You know, i think my anxiety is serving no one

I completely understand and I feel the same. I don’t see how it’s possible to switch off when children are being damaged. Hope you can keep calm and use your anger to motivate you instead.

Thanks JL, its been a brutal few weeks i think with so many terrible things you and the others have told us here. So its always great to have these to lift us. Hopefully this shite will be over before next Christmas. We can dream!

That's the spirit, I'm sure others look to see you're on here and are ok as I do, so keep youself as well as you can. Think of it like planting a tree - it's often others and generations you will never meet that will benefit from your actions. You have that tree in you. This site is very difficult to read at times.

I love that JL includes the light relief - we sorely need it and it's a very clever thing to do. The videos make me laugh out loud or take me away to better and more musical places (with augmented sonorities)!

thanks TSBBL, i’m going to get rid of this bloody phone too. Use a none smart phone. I feel enslaved to this bastard device. Who’s serving who in this relationship? Have a nice day. though I don’t think its healthy to be so ‘connected’ all the time. We used to live far more in our own isolated heads. All this 24/7 technology, the social experiment continues! And whatever the outcome to people’s health the tech giants win! win win win! Whats the fucking point in worrying TSBBL. Literally powerless. Oh well. f-ing hell

I rarely check this on my phone - try sticking to when you are using a fullblown laptop or PC (even in just one spot). I love being in rural areas with no reception. It's odd how my scrolling behaviours or use of certain media is affected by using a bigger screen and I am more in control of my attentional filters. I have to go to and look out for something consciously rather than it telling, notifying or nudging me with what it thinks I should be doing with my time. Having said that - the Kemi despatch box link is very worth a watch and also as a summary for anyone less well-versed in all this. I skipped a virtual meeting the other day as I am pretty sick of having a screen between me and others. Have a good day too in the real world :-)

Interesting that the female athletes standing up to the trans nonsense seem to be a lot older than the average female athlete. If only younger women could show the same courage and common sense and refuse to compete against the Male cheats this whole issue would soon go away.

It does look like a whole generation, (maybe 25-35 year olds..?? ) have been captured by trans and nonbinary, and it is part of their group-identity. Most people want to conform to their peer group, even if deep down they don't totally agree. And then again, if any young person did try to stand up to it, they'd be shamed, ostracised, or cut off by their peers. Meanwhile some older sportswomen can see the threat to the very existence of women's sports- so they will risk conflict and abuse, to protect the sport they love. Let's hope they influence younger female athletes, both professional and amateur.

It got better on Wednesday. Kemi Badenoch is my SHERO: she not only has a complete grasp of the full range of harms and how they are interconnected, but explains the elements in simple terms to "non-believers": https://www.theyworkforyou.com/debates/?id=2023-12-06a.359.0&s=Gender+Recognition+Act+2004#g359.1 6th December 2023.
