Your interview was good Graham. Trans activists will say he did this to himself, pity tears etc etc etc ... but they model themselves on domestic abusers and Putin in which any sign of the harm they have done you is turned into a sign of their rightness to bully. Those that still have humanity will see someone that has literally stood strong against a force 10 hurricane of bullshit and is still standing, because he stands on the rock of truth. I know the cost you have gone through to hold the line having done the same in family court ... I salute your courage, dignity and the fact you won't back down in the face of weazil liars. There is no good to be had from facilitating liars and people with severe mental health issues, even if it seems kind to do so. Its the equivalent of agreeing with anorexics that yes, if they think they are fat, then they must be and let's help them starve themselves to death. Sometimes you do have to be cruel to be kind when dealing with mental illness, social contagion and just bullshit bullying. Thank you for all you are doing at immense cost to yourself.

Thank you Graham. I’m a survivor of sexual abuse along with several other women in my family (same perpetrator). We are all extremely worried about the erasure of female only facilities and care that we all need access to in order to feel comfortable and at ease. In fact my 74 year old mum is more than worried- she’s very scared that she may not be able to request female only care as she gets older. I also have friends and colleagues who have “warned” me to stay away from this topic despite being so personally affected by it. Your courage and resilience in taking on this fight along with all others who won’t be silenced means a great deal more than I can express. So, from myself, my mum, my sisters and my cousins- thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.

This particular Democratic operative has spent five years writing memos and emails etc to "progressive" and "liberal" orgs and figures warning them that this EXACT moment was inevitable. All that most of them ever did was hiss and make the sign of the cross at me, or admit that the sports thing was messed up but they are too weak to speak up. A handful have followed me through cancellation hell, or caught up with me after they realized I was right. At every turn, I asked, over and over again, "have you tried polling this position? Have you knocked on doors in a swing district or done a focus group?" Of course, the answers were always no. It was not necessary to find out whether "sterilize kids," "put men in women's sports," etc were popular or unpopular because they were, yes, "on the right side of history."
And you know what? I can't prove it, but the pronouns disappearing from bios suggests that someone finally thought to do a poll and find out whether people are more or less likely to vote for someone with pronouns in Twitter bios, which is exactly the strong suggestion I made for five long years in the wilderness. But it's not enough.
Graham, you speak for the powerless: imprisoned women who are locked up with intact rapists; women in mental health wards locked up with men; girls forced to share locker rooms with boys and adult men. Women who cannot speak up without losing their jobs thank you for it.

As always, your interview is a keeper. Thanks once again for bringing so much to the fray, at considerable personal cost. When the history of this time is written, your name will stand out amongst the giants - Berns, Jackson, Harris, Clark, Bailey, Fanshawe, Yardley, Black, Forstater, Bell, and so many others who have sacrificed so much for, in many cases, decades, for women's and gay & lesbian rights.
That said, I must say that Skylar Gwynn can not be situated in such a group of "veteran LGB rights campaigners." By her own admission she only recently showed up for the party two or three years ago. My criticism of her supposed contributions are well known and borne out by the facts. So that I might avoid becoming like the Helen Sharp (Goldie Hawn) character who obsessed about Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streep) in Death Becomes Her, I'll show myself out now and leave you this:

Now I've contributed to court cases, I've got a new twitter account to speak my mind to different organisations, written some feminist poetry and so on.
Yes, yes, and I will gladly come to Britain to enjoy the Father Ted musical. I hear Ted is elevated to popedom, surely the pinnacle example of St. Peter's Principle.
Ted has a humanity and fallibility that would be a good quality for a Pope. Not just a boomer's ref. We particularly liked mentioning it when sh*t bosses promoted merely through being time-served and completely clueless about people management were called Peter. Apologies to be so graphic, but other versions of or riffs on the PP that are easy to comprehend involve sh*t, and floaters (how some sh*t floats to the top).
Well, he certainly would be an improvement on most of the other popes. And he knows how to "rest" funds in his bank account, so he's fit for purpose. Don't get me wrong -- I love long-suffering Ted, but he's no shining beacon. Can't wait for the Musical!!! The Father Ted sitcom got a lot of us through some rough times. We really need him now, more than ever.
When you think what people get to do without it affecting their career, including actually assaulting people (Boy George, Cheryl Cole, Jamie Carragher spitting at a teenager, I could go on and on....) Not only not sidelined but on prime time family shows.
