When I saw this headline, my first thought was ‘at last’!
I presumed the trans phenomenon would form part of this examination of male aggression and sexual entitlement, considering the rape and death threats sent to any feminist who disagrees that men become women the instant they declare themselves such. But then I remembered that this was The Guardian, so the ‘experts’ might be anything but.

How can they combat misogyny when they can't even say what a woman is?
The Trans moevment has undoutedly increased misogyny. It shows in the way that women have been bypassed in bringing this into policy and legislation, without being consulted, and our concerns are still not being listened to. Any society which respects women and children would ensure our rights are absolutely respected. This fundamental disrespect filters through to feed grass roots misogyny. Just look at Kellie-Jay Keen's US tour. It seems like it's Incels' favourite day out when she hosts a Speaker's Corner event- the perfect excuse for men to go out and and badmouth, bully and threaten women, with no comeback. Watch her Austin event as an example. The police don't turn up, or they do a half-hearted job of protecting women or their rights to spealk, which signals that the police don't care , which implies the State doesn;t care, which implies society doesn't care, which some men take to mean they can get away with anything when it comes to women. It is so poisonous. Thanks for highlitghing this, Graham. For (some) women to be encouraging this is just so sickening.
