Once again, has any other civil rights movement needed such secrecy?

Hope the ACLU and Planned Parenthood are next! Thank you for some good news!

Hear, hear! I’m SO disappointed in the “don’t say ‘Women’” wokeness in all the US pro-abortion organizations!! I had to do major research to find ONE that uses the “w” word. 😡

It is not civil rights, hugely dangerous dangerous b*ll*cks

All I could think as I read your essay is that non-disclosure agreements are generally associated with people such as Jeffrey Epstein, Bill Cosby, etc, and institutions rife with racism and sexism.

That is brilliant news, well done Maya, well done SexMatters, and thanks Graham for reporting it

It is brilliant news, and I hope in particular that the Gov Legal Dept, HM Treasury and OFSTED (inspection of school and college education) are forced to divulge the mechanisms used to corrupt them. Yes, used to corrupt them.

This reminds me that I got reply to my complaint to the Crown Prosecution Service about the appointment of "Sarah" Cook as a "Speak Out Champion" inside the CPS. The CPS's "substantive reply" (their designation) was no such thing! It was a repetition of the job description! I wrote back demanding that they addressed my specific complaints: "Go away and try again. Please come back when you can answer my complaints:

(1) This person is a lobbyist and will remain a lobbyist for the Trans cause to the detriment of all the other 8 protected characteristics. The idea that HE will obey the Nolan principles is laughable.

(2) Far from encouraging employees to "speak out" HE, and I mean HE, will terrify employees so that they DARE NOT speak out.

(3) I strongly object to the CROWN PROSECUTION SERVICE paying for a political lobbyist within the UK Government's supposedly "independent" prosecution service.

HIS appointment is a corruption of the service".

In capitals as above.

It may be a bit rash to attack the CPS. Wish me luck and I hope that others will support any Crowdfunder that may become necessary?!

Expand full comment

HIS appointment is a conflict of interests. He is inherently biased due to his being trans and thus denying that he is male and a man. This puts him in direct conflict with Women who know full well he is NOT a woman.

Thus the Nolan Principles are breached straight away.

I’ve written to my MP about this. My main point is that Cook is a high-profile campaigner for the decriminalisation of the offence of sex by deception, by hiring him, the CPS is tacitly endorsing this view. It’s not appropriate for the state prosecutor to employ someone who is trying to decriminalise an offence. It’s a conflict of interest. It undermines public confidence in the CPS.

Also, Cook was removed as a Labour Party candidate for financial impropriety. Then he was made bankrupt. Did the CPS do due diligence on this person before hiring him? I doubt it.

I’d support a crowdfunder….not sure what the remedy would be in this case though.

Thank you for reminding me of these salient facts about Cook. I will also write to my MP about him.

I hope that Sex Matters are chasing the ICO to get the Crown Prosecution Service to reveal the same information as University of Oxford. Crowdfunding could be needed for such a court case. It is outrageous that the CPS are compromised in this way by this new employee!

I have just written to my MP, who happens to be the Shadow Solicitor General in the Attorney General's Office - so definitely with a specialist's interest. Whether he wants to rock the "Labour boat" is another matter. But I am putting him on the spot. And will be prodding him for an answer.

This is their reply. Tell me if it identical to yours:

"Subject: Appointment of Speak Out Champion

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the appointment of the new CPS Speak out Champion role within the CPS.

Firstly, I would like to provide some context regarding the role of Speak out Champion. The role was introduced as part of a range of changes to our E, D and I infrastructure and is one of two new roles which, together, are aimed at making a step change in supporting our inclusive culture. We are aiming to improve trust and confidence in employees in raising concerns about any inappropriate behaviours in the workplace or whistle–blowing issues and the appointment has received positive feedback from those within the CPS. The Speak Out Champion will have no role in any part of prosecution policy making or decision making.

Addressing your specific concerns regarding maintaining a neutral and unbiased position moving forward, I can confirm the Speak Out Champion role is bound by the Seven Principles of Public Life (Nolan Principles) and as such, the post holder has been briefed about the standards and expectations of how they should conduct themselves in the role.

Additionally, employees will receive a professional response as advertised in our recruitment pack for the SOC, with the role purpose stated as followed:

“The Speak Out Champion will help ensure that the CPS fulfils its commitment to upholding its organisational values to be transparent, accountable and fair by:

Providing a visible focal point to encourage employees to speak out about inappropriate behaviour within the organisation.

Seeking to help people resolve their issues in a way that meets the needs of the individual raising concerns, enabling and supporting reflection on the issues raised.

Driving improvements in culture and behaviours through resolution of issues and demonstrating a commitment to help CPS resolve and address issues.

The Speak Out Champion will act independently and impartially with access to all levels across the CPS”.

The appointment followed a full, fair, and open selection process where the strongest candidate was appointed. In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, the personal characteristics of the successful candidate played no part in the selection process and they were appointed to the role on merit.

Thank you for your interest in the CPS and I hope this letter has addressed the concerns you have raised.

Yours sincerely,

CPS People Function"

Brilliant! I particularly want Stonewall out of the academic bodies I associate with: Imperial College London, Institute of Cancer Research, The Francis Crick Institute, King's College London & Sanger Institute. And I'd like to feed Halifax their pronoun badges.

I upset a few trans assholes on Facebook commenting on compelled speech. Those bastards don't like it up them. I do hope Halifax lose customers over this.

So disappointed Imperial are still with Stonewall, UCL had the good sense not to renew their membership.

I am trying to avoid coverage for the same reason. I hadn't realised until today that the BBC now have a 'BBC LGBT and identity correspondent'. A bit of hint that this is all about identity politics. Presumably to explain what endosex dyadic perisex enbian indigender flipflap rights are. Every time the BBC admit or are exposed for this yet more is revealed and they seem to be doing it more in response.

Eagerly awaiting hearing from their BBC pink cheese weevils on the moon correspondent.

:-) It's (mostly) real actual made up stuff from the 'training course' materials featured here the other day in The Ministry of Silly Talk. I am still slightly reeling that anyone was made to take time out of their day and leave other work to sit in a room for that. How so many government organisations are continuing despite legal rulings and advice to be more cautious.

I was listening to the New Discourses podcast with Dr James Lindsay. He weaves together the theories of Foucault/Butler/Marcuse and many other proponents in a very listenable way - step by step linking this to things like Drag Queen Story Hour which he's now covered in depth for a fourth time. It's like a close text analysis so not too head-bending to follow and he reexplains as he goes along. I first dipped a toe in this at Uni, and glad I got the opportunity to as it doesn't faze me so much when people quote these theories as any kind of 'evidence' base which it has created itself as. I still cannot quite believe the way it has infiltrated and corrupted so many institutions. He pushes the point that it is no accident.

My take is that employers present these workshops as sort of an insurance premium against potential employee discrimination claims based on coworker conduct. “We give our employees the most up-to-date training …”

I’ve listened to the New Discourses podcasts too. Glad not to be in academia at present.

I've just read The Red Trojan Horse - A Concise Guide to Cultural Marxism by Alasdair Elder. It's a very readable analysis I'd recommend. He covers how they set out to infiltrate all our institutions in the "long march through the institutions" . It's chilling how successful the left have been in most Western countries, very stealthily. We are now all suffering the consequences. Ah yes! Dr James Lindsey, I knew he sounded familiar. I have his book Cynical Theories, absolutely brilliant.
