I don't get it either. A few guys think I am weird having a girl as a BFF and having a couple of lesbian friends. Some gay guys are very misogynist, same goes for some lesbians who are very misandrinst . You would be amazed at the hate I used to get for admitting I have slept with the opposite gender and identifying as bisexual .

I remember in the 80's a gay male friend of mine took me to a gay bar in London. I am an American female and he wanted to show me the scene and when we went in all I heard was "sshh" "shhh" "fissssh"... and he turned around to them all and said, "Shame on you. I have been coming her forever and I bring a friend and you do this! I will never come back!" And he took me right out the door. I said, "What happened?" He said..."They were all saying, "fish" "fish" which is what they call women...because apparently our genitals smell like fish. That gay friend of mine, he was one of the best people I knew. He was totally messed up in all kinds of ways, but he was so supersweet. At some point in the future lesbians and gay men will join forces to combat some of the predatory aspects of the trans community and I look forward to that day.
Just because a group/magazine supports lesbians or gays does NOT make it transphobic. Trans people can have their own groups that support them, and there is a lot of people more than happy to support them. Gay, lesbian, and bisexual are about who we are attracted to. Trans is not. Sexuality is how I feel toward other people that I find attractive, identity is about how a person sees themselves, and unfortunately often seems to be tied up in narcissistic behaviour.
It's sad that organisations are bullied into adding the T when it's not relevant.
There is a trans mtf only swimming night where I live. What if I went in and said I identified as an assigned female at birth trans woman? I would be chucked out. Why are trans women allowed in women and lesbian-only events? But not us into their events? One rule for thee and not for me.
Not another one! Sure the Maya Forstater case shows we are still entitled to believe in reality Glinner [!] and be critical about unproven gender ideology and concerned about evident harms.
