Sickening. I wonder what number will be enough for the enablers to wake up and say "enough"? Is 43 enough? No? 143? 1043? Do I need to keep counting? Where is the line with these people?

Expand full comment

The line is going to be a very big number, because not only are they "merely" women, they are women who "make themselves" unavailable to men, so men in general don't care about lesbians. TRAs don't care about them in the slightest. Women in general don't seem to care about them, either. It often seems that lesbians just can't win, and that's why the LGB Alliance is needed.

Expand full comment

Still waiting to see if LGB Alliance prioritizes lesbians. Gay men don’t have good history with this.

I'm pretty sure the correct answer to that question is always going to be n+1

Where n = infinity!

One lesbian is one too many.

unfortunately in conventional society 1000 lesbians = 1 mans opinion.

Thank you Graham, for keeping up with the info and reporting. Very necessary but I'm sure it's all-consuming. I hope you get some switch-off time, too.

There will always be feminists like Finn MacKay around to remind lesbians who are sexually, physically and emotionally abused by trans identified males that more lesbians are abused by other lesbians. And feminists like Van Badham, showing her solidarity with trans identified males - "trans women are women". And the only women questioning their status and, in some instances, their unfettered, aggressively masculine behaviour are 'TERFS'. Seemingly, 'absolute worst' kind of people.

Again, women are presented as liars and bigots, they're reprimanded and their realities and truths discredited and dismissed. These are some kind of feminists.

Get on your knees, ladies, there are men in the vicinity and they want their own fucking way, right now!

Wish I could give this two likes. Agree with every word.

Wry smile at the tweet referring to the "precious and all-holy ladydique". What a brilliant characterisation.

Last women's protest I was at there was a counter trans protest - it was fascinating. Some of the group were obviously mentally unwell, then there were the rest: higher functioning TIMs and young girls.

When the protest had finished, I walked past these confused, unhappy looking girls each sitting next to an older trans chaperone. It looked wrong and my heart went out to them. Maybe I'm projecting but they looked trapped and so so sad

In “Letter To My Therapist” Eli describes the effect of hearing her therapist call her rapist “she”.

I wonder, if my wife and I were going to therapy and she called me 'she' (I'm not, just boringly straight) would the therapist make an issue of correcting her or would they remember that the language used is much less important than hearing what is being said.

These victims are being attacked by society and support organisations because their abusers are 'trans'. That's just so fucking WRONG!

Expand full comment

I agree, apart from when you say 'the language used is much less important than hearing what is being said', in fact the language used is part and parcel of what is being said and as such, is an essential part of hearing and understanding what is being said. How dare anyone, much less therapists (and journalists or judges!) correct the words chosen by victims to accurately describe their experiences.

Therapists should never judge their clients or impose their values on them, and certainly never try to coerce. Therapists who do this should be reported to the bodies that represent the profession and its practitioners. Damn! That won't work, most of them seem to have jumped aboard the trans authoritarian train.

Thank you. You said what I intended but far more eloquently :-)

Dumb question but is there another way to buy the book or just donate as the $25 postage is putting me off..?

Expand full comment

That's a really good question. I wonder if it could be made available as a pdf or ebook.

That would be great 👍🏻

Hi, this is Kitty, the editor. I do apologize for shipping costs, I sell the book at cost and that’s the cheapest I can do it. However, I have been working to try to get a copy or two into libraries around the world so they will be accessible to readers for whom the shipping is too steep. If anyone can help with this, please feel free to reach out to me at uglytruthscollective@gmail.com

Thanks for replying, Kitty. I know shipping from the USA to UK can be ridiculously expensive - I wasn't having a go at you. I have huge admiration for you doing the work you have - it seems like a very important piece, hence my thought about putting it into electronic format so it gets maximum exposure.

And we can buy the pdf/digital version and pay more to the author if we can save on postage xx

I'm looking at that Tweet, and wondering if "Vax" is short for "vacuous", or whether it refers to a device known for sucking up.

Van Badham. Aussie left wing 'feminist', writes for the Australian Guardian and a regular on current affairs and political chat panels on TV. I used to listen to her even if I didnt always agree. Looks like she's all in with the queer woke folk these days. What a disappointment.

Yeah, they got her, a total disappointment.

This is so important to document. In fact, I urge them to start keeping statistics so that the male pattern of violence can be documented.

This has really shocked me. I’m still learning so much about the GC debate and subscribed to Graham as I just felt that he’d been dealt a shitty hand and deserved support. These predators make a mockery of genuine trans people who I believe are probably as outraged as the rest of us.

Ugh, I am ashamed that journalist Vanessa Badham is Australian. I just unfollowed her and cancelled by $10 monthly "donation" to the Guardian. She is seriously misguided claiming to be a feminist if she thinks men can be women.

Other prominent Australian feminists I'll name and shame here....Bri Lee banned me from her Substack newsletter for using the phrase "men who say they are women", commenting that I was a "yuck bigot". My greatest sorrow was to discover that Clementine Ford, whose 4 books I have loved, also believes that transwomen are women and has my comments limited on her Instagram in case I express any "hateful" terfy opinions.

Or could a drip feed effect work. As more women are enraged and emboldened they may start to come forward with historic claims. Apparently the police are looking for people to come forward with sexual assault experiences no matter how long ago. Let's make them put their money where their mouth is. No need to say I was raped by a woman with a penis. Just a man raped me.

Every now and then I wonder whether we're going to find out that gender theory is just a bet gone wrong, like L.Ron Hubbard and Scientology. (For those who don't know, the story goes that Hubbard, Robert Heinlein and John W Campbell were drinking after a conference, and took up a bet that more money could be made by setting up a religion than by publishing. Heinlein made a try with "Stranger in a Strange Land", Hubbard with "Battlefield: Earth" [if I recall correctly]. Scientology was allegedly the result and if Hubbard was still alive, he'd be a VERY rich man.)
