And wait for the cult to start bleating how the pressure was too much for him as he was being made out a cheat - what a ghastly sight - huge wobbly gut to go with his bald head - what a specimen of entitled maleness

They absolutely didn't want Hubbard to medal. It makes trans-inclusion seem less "threatening" you see. They will argue that there's no advantage for a transwoman, as was witnessed in these Olympics. Yes, they're paving the way to replace women with men, and once one country does it, they all will. They will think they've diffused the situation by Hubbard losing. But the woman he replaced on the team lost an opportunity. Hubbard had his shot at glory, 20 years ago. And he's still a man, anyone with eyes can see it. It's disgusting.

They will censor the comments to make it look like everyone supports men in women's sports. It will not stand. Too many people have been peaked.

New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard has made history by becoming the first transgender athlete to compete at the Olympic Games - but fell well short of a podium finish as she could not complete a lift.

Competing in the over-87kg category in Tokyo, Hubbard overbalanced on her opening weight of 120kg, taking the bar behind her shoulders.

Her second attempt of 125kg was ruled invalid on a majority decision by the referees.

The third try was similar to the first, ruling Hubbard out of medal contention.

It's no coincidence that since Rio 2016 there are - suddenly - mixed-sex disciplines (relays) in athletics and swimming.

Gee I wonder what they're going to be the precursor to 🙄

Rebecca Quinn, a trans man (openly since 2020) and now identifying only as Quinn, plays soccer for the women’s team. Even now that she identifies as a man, she is still included on the women’s Olympic team. So there are no rules that benefit anyone but the trans identifying people involved.

The IOC list competitors as being either female or male gender rather than sex. We all know our biological sex but what is the IOC definition of 'gender'? (I need them to tell me so I can check I have mine right.) If the Olympics are about physical excellence they need to go by sex, not gender. What's wrong with being inclusive by going by sex, as always happened previously? What about people who call themselves non-binary? Should there be a non-binary Olympics?

I know there's a contact link on the Olympics website but does anyone have an email address it would be better to use? Thanks.

It is curious that Hubbard is allowed to compete with women given his testosterone level, and Caster Semenya, whose T level is lower than Hubbard's, is not. Both are XY males, Caster has a DSD but is nonetheless biologically male just as Hubbard is.
