JB is right to criticise PP for her getting involved with The Heritage Foundation. It fuelled the now-common belief among American ‘feminists’ that British rad gems are financed by the far right, religious organisations. PP is not a radfem and of course the it’s complete nonsense, but her very public presence at the HF was I’ll-advised. Right-wingers have never been and are never going to be on the side of women’s autonomy wrt reproduction, which, being pro-choice, she should understand. If you want to lobby both sides, you need to be smart about it - I think her stunts have been effective but to have real influence, you need to work behind the scenes, too.
I love JB, but the story of Posie and the Heritage Foundation is a lot more complicated than has been described. WOLF did a great thread on it that I will see if I can track down
