I wrote previously “In the comments, please give the reasons and your appeal numbers. I think the wider world is about to discover how Twitter silenced and demonised feminists who prioritised women over men, and safeguarding over fashion.” Women with a bit more self-respect than Lorraine here, in other words.
Here are some actual feminists and the reasons they got banned. I’ve included the appeal numbers where they were provided so that Twitter can reinstate the accounts as soon as possible.
I was banned from Twitter for mocking the notion that anyone is 'assigned a gender' at birth. Case# 0196959480: Appealing an account suspension - @blablafishcakes.
My account was locked for asking a certain Pink News editor in the process of admonishing lesbians for not sleeping with men how many transmen he’d slept with, himself. Fair question I thought, considering the pressure being put on homosexual women. No? Haven’t been able to access my account since.
@TTerfervilles, case ref 0293304387. Non-specific reasons that my account "broke the twitter rules".
#0268483157. For two years they never told me why and then when I called them out for allowing child porn on the platform, they said targeted harassment.
@fatblackcatspaw #0289747989 'Your account has been suspended and will not be restored because it was found to be violating the Twitter Terms of Service, specifically the Twitter Rules against participating in targeted abuse” but no actual examples... I'm assuming my refusal to accept men are women forms part of my crime and encouraging other women to fund GC causes. Despite only having 5000 followers I seem to have been targetted by TRAS for a few months before I was suspended... I think because despite my small numbers I got loads and loads of retweets—one post I did got 36 000 views. I also got lots of sales and donations for For Women Scotland.
I was banned because I dare to ask for the name of one single human being who was able to change his sperm in eggs. And, also because I began to ask TRAs to define what a Transwoman could be. They don't even accept my appeal.
Currently suspended for sharing the Telegraph article about the transgender singer Jordan Gray stripping live on air on channel 4. Shared the article in a thread and got suspended after a Twitter user complained that one tweet was "hateful conduct". From a mainstream UK newspaper article that had already been published!
I was suspended in June ‘22 (ongoing) for “hateful content” for saying “If trans existence means suicide without surgeries, hormones & social input, it’s a mental health issue.if trans existence doesn’t require hormones or surgery it has no bearing on sex specific laws. If safety is at stake, women’s spaces are not a male refuge, so 3rd spaces needed” Appeals using a fellow terfs successful experience of using Mayo Clinic guidance for suicide, have been unsuccessful.
@reality_cat21 #0293787166 Yes I was. However, I was not given a reason why. I only posted sex realist and pro-women, gay and child rights stuff on there though so the reason is clear enough. Just appealed to ask for the reason. I didn't at the time because Twitter had killed off too many of my brain cells by the time I was banned anyway.
Case # 0270362134 I was banned for telling a homophobic, misogynist MAN, who claimed to be a butch lesbian, that he was a STRAIGHT MAN.
Not banned but suspended until I deleted a tweet saying Lia Thomas was a man
I wasn’t banned, but suspended from my account pending me deleting an ‘offensive’ tweet. This has now happened twice. First time I appealed….and waited…and waited. No-one replied. I finally, out of frustration deleted the tweet, which was not remotely ‘hateful’ or racist or intolerant.
Second time it happened I saved the tweet, appealed (for form’s sake), deleted it then reposted it back on my timeline.
This is the body of the 2nd text/tweet, which was apparently promoting hateful conduct, threatening and harassing people on the basis of their ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, disability, disease. Where is there any of that in my tweet below?
“@Freki_Nwaka @SydneyGDragon @jk_rowling @Jebad002 But you've never been a woman. You have no idea, none. You don't advocate for one oppressed group at the expense of another. And no-one on my side says the things u enjoy pretending we do.”
Have screengrabbed the next comment because I wanted to add my comment to it.
(So that’s the same crime both times. Saying “No” to a man.)
I was shadow banned then actually banned when I stood up for a woman who was parodying that Dylan 'days of girlhood' individual. I was told to delete my tweet, which apparently encouraged violence, and I'd be let back on after a 7-day ban. I refused because standing up for a woman isn't violence.
I was on Twitter as SusanBeeA @susanbee_a. I was suspended (and since I appealed, it was a de facto ban) for the following tweet:
@nytimes Rachel Levine is a man. The audacity of the Biden Administration to declare this an advancement for women. The lack of journalistic integrity of the New York Times to repeat the BS without question.
I don't have an account number, and don't know the status. For a really long time, I periodically checked to see if my appeal had been handled, and I tried to reach someone to get info and protest the suspension. I could never find out anything out; I could never reach anyone to ask the status. It's possible at some point it was restored. I gave up on it long ago.
Appeal number 0243584089. Banned for saying Hispanic women are indeed women but men are not included in the category of women. I was replying to one of the usual racist TRAs.
@Humanbeanhk: I just got banned for saying that I didn’t believe that anyone was born in the wrong body, but that there were varying degrees of mental disorders that meant people got relief (or sexual excitement) from pretending they were the opposite sex. I appealed the accusation of “violence, discrimination and harassment” since it was just a statement of my own views, and I hadn’t mentioned any individuals or said anything violent or threatening but no, the appeal was denied and I was invited to delete the tweet if I wanted to go back on Twitter. I declined. Compelled speech is not my thing.
Not banned but suspended until I deleted a tweet saying Lia Thomas was a man.
Case# 0292787850:ref: For making threats of violence, when it was clear that I was quoting/reflecting/satirising an assailant. His target was being compelled to use she/her for her rapist. As if a woman who's been raped would threaten rape.
After the appeal, my account was permanently closed.
I had an anonymous account and got banned for saying autogynaephilia is a fetish
I was permanently banned from Twitter under the username @leilarubyW9 for telling a so-called MAP/ paedophile that he should be castrated and locked up for the things he was openly advocating. I appealed twice and was refused twice. Twitter claimed that I had ‘engaged in targeted abuse.’ My case number was 0263154214. I was clearly mass reported by TRAs, as my account was very openly gender critical and pro-biological women and girls.
Suspended for saying ‘Laurel Hubbard is a man’. No right of reply; chose to delete my account (and, infuriatingly, had to delete the tweet to do it - thereby having to accept Twitter’s characterisation of my ‘hateful conduct’.)
I sent the following message to a heterosexual male who was calling himself a queer woman @chromefutures @AlexHardwick95 “You’re pathetic - your a “woman”with dick a who gets off on vagina havers of either gender” As a gay man I found both his appropriation of homosexuality and his use of the homophobic slur “queer” offensive. On 16/09/21 I was banned for hateful conduct
I’ve appealed twice and both time the appeal was refused. Case numbers 0229381000 and 0266296155
2 short term bans. 11 days and 6 days. Each time I deleted the tweet to return eventually. For the first ban I'd targeted Starmer using a comic image of a genuine dog with an erection and asked him if it was a dog or a bitch. Queen's english. For the second I replied to a question with 'I think 'trans' is a religion and a death cult.' I'd said this plenty of times previously but the OT-er openly called on his transclan to report me.
Latest Twitter appeal no. [ref:00DA0000000K0A8.5004w00002Xdq6A]
This was the tweet that did me in: "I want to see memes of the 'trans' bus losing its wheels. Or the 'trans train' derailed. I want to see drag queens flying out the windows, unicorns landing on their heads, trans flags torn asunder, glitter fuel leaks, you get the idea. It would be so very satisfying".I appealed and appealed, did myself no favours by mentioning that the trans flag was designed by a paedophilic fetishist.
I was @SueBites on Twitter since 2008 and Obama used to follow me as well as some famous bands. I was suddenly suspended in 2015 without warning for saying men can't become women. I've appealed so many times and I always get an automatic reply back within 5 min that I'm permanently suspended for violating some hate speech policy. It's not hate speech to say a man isn't a woman. The latest appeal ref:00DA0000000K0A8.5004w00002Xdq6A:ref is the only one that hasn't been responded to yet and it was sent last night.
I was banned for saying Lia Thomas was a man - hateful content.
@eiyukabe. For pointing out that TERF is a slur.
I was banned from Twitter for offering $1 milllion for a transgender gerbil. Twitter decided this was "abuse and harassment" of the gerbil community.
Case# 0290701619 for @OsborneInk account 0290701619 [ref:00DA0000000K0A8.5004w00002WR4MM:ref]
Case# 0292598333: For referring to a man (in a wig) as a 'he'.
@DB_Soil [ ref:_00DA0K0A8._5004w2QJIGq:ref ]
Couple of time outs for saying Janiv is male then permanent ban for misgendering a man who was abusing a woman on Twitter - he was not banned. Abusive man had also not previously declared ‘I am a lady’. Have tried appeals, just an automated response from a bot.
Slightly different but I'm pretty sure I was banned from leaving reviews on a well known site because I left five star reviews of gender critical books, and commented that a therapy book written by someone who had pronouns in their twitter bio, could not be trusted.
Lorraine Kelly is a complete idiot. The fact she is a woman, a woman with a daughter, and a Scottish woman with a daughter at that makes me want to shake some sense into her. I just don’t think she has the brains to figure these things out.
