There's not a tiny enough violin for this one
The privileges enjoyed by the new sacred class continue to amaze
"(Prison) broke me," said Rayne Bennett, who is a transgender woman. "It destroyed a part of me. A good part of me.”
This poor, imprisoned ‘transwoman’ given this treatment—-guess what ‘she’ is in for?
My local NPR posted this story, including some sobbing about "Rayne Bennett's" treatment in prison. Why were they there? Article didn't say, so I looked it up. Sexual assaulting a girl of fourteen. Yeah, I see why they left that out.
My word that’s some powerful male privilege. You can be a rapist of teenage girls, and NPR will boost a story treating you like you’re Rosa Parks.
Fourteen-year-old girl. He didn’t enjoy prison? Good! Fuck him, he’s not supposed to. And to those dickhead celebrity men, like Stewart Lee, Frankie Boyle, Matt Lucas and Owen Jones, who are arguing that this guy should be placed among the female prison population if he is arrested for rape again? Take a good look at this story, because I’m never going to let people forget what side of history you were all on.
Not a tiny enough violin is right. These articles go out of their way not to mention when they’re sexual predators, which they frequently are. Disgusting.
These people are fucking mental. They're so convinced of the superiority of their own "tolerance and inclusivity" that they're able to prioritise a rapist's hurt feelings over his 14 year-old victim. And that's the nicest thing you can say about them because if they're not swivel-eyed, true-believer cult followers, then the alternative is that they really are - morally - able to relate to this creature.
