(Pictured: just a few people recently arrested in Portland who are probably NOT subscribers. By the way, hahahaa, the second photo was from a BLM protest hahahahaa)
Whoah! Steep rise in paid subscriptions! Thank you so much! Not only that, but the Crowdjustice campaign has nearly hit its target after only three days. There are a lot of very generous people out there who have been paying attention to what’s been happening. It means a great deal, I tell you whut.
When I started doing the Substack I was only half-hopeful it could earn me a living but it has allowed me to relax a little bit while I work on things that I think you’ll like. Two projects in the short term, a sitcom and…something else.
We’ll see if anyone is brave enough to commission the sitcom (we’re skipping Channel 4 because of their censorship of an IT Crowd episode on religious grounds) and if no-one takes it I’ll post it here to show everyone what cancel culture is keeping from you.
Meanwhile, the Ted musical is ready to go as soon as the theatres open, if such a day ever comes.
I’d have been half-crazed with stress if it wasn’t for the revenue coming in from this site. Again, can’t tell you how much it means, especially in these somewhat desperate times.
See you tomorrow for sitcom school at 1pm!
I've loved you as a writer for so long and now I adore you as a great advocate for women. Thank you. It's an honour to be able to support you.
Thank you Graham, and it works both ways. We can all relax a little bit knowing you are out there fighting with and for us.
