Wow, that was fast. Our first whistleblower.
Dear Graham,
I hope you don't mind me contacting you. I work for a charity called Action on Hearing Loss, formally Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID). They run several care homes around the country for disabled people over the age of 18, all of whom are deaf.Â
Our head of HR and our L&D manager are pushing for inclusion policies and are appointing an inclusion and diversity officer. They both say that they don't believe in biological sex and say that trans women are women.Â
I'm really worried that this will mean forcing the women in our care homes to accept personal care from men and to be gaslighted. They are already very vulnerable. I know of two women who have experienced sexual assault prior to coming to our care homes.Â
Action on Hearing Loss also research into hearing loss and deafness and have previously noted differences between men and women. I'm worried that they will no longer be allowed to do this.Â
I mostly worry about the extremely vulnerable women in our care homes having to deal with some 6' 4" bearded man in an Anne Summers nurses outfit demanding to change her tampon or give her a bath.Â
I feel it needs highlighting as the public needs to know what is going on. However please don't mention my name; I need my job!Â
(name redacted)
Historically, polite society has decided that certain groups are beneath consideration. They include the working poor, women in prison and women in care homes.
The gender Gods have already accepted the sacrifices of Karen White’s victims in prison and Jessica Yaniv’s immigrant victims in Canada, so it does not seem out of the question that vulnerable, disabled women will also be offered up by yet another ideologically captured organisation.
If you have a loved one with Action On Hearing Loss, perhaps it’s time to write and remind them of their responsibilities. They need to follow the law, not Stonewall Law, and if this person’s account of what’s going on there is accurate, they are in danger of starting out on a road that leads nowhere good.
UPDATE: Uh-oh
I had a look at the equality monitoring form in their job application:

I recently spent a long time in hospital, with cancer. I can’t imagine being bathed and washed by men. And I don’t have any sexual or violent trauma. Jesus Christ, when I was shrivelled to a grey, nauseous husk by chemo, if a man pretending to be a woman showed up to perform intimate care I’d have fucking wailed. Why can’t they just let us be? No man wanting to do that can be doing so from a good place in a good heart.
