Share the scandal, just not in public

Let's be careful out there

After Rob Jessel’s experience, when he used Twitter to establish contact with the parents of autistic, dysphoric teens only to be suddenly and abruptly banned for an older tweet, it has become clear that the platform is determined to do everything in its power to suppress a wide societal understanding of what the words “trans health care” really means.

Even the tweet Rob was supposedly banned for showed an example of “top surgery”, the grotesque euphemism that allows kids to believe they didn’t just have an elective double mastectomy. Where did the photograph come from? The Huffington Post. Rob was banned for sharing a photograph from the trans-goofy Huffington Post.

This video is I think the most powerful explanation of what we mean when we say that this is the greatest medical scandal in an age. It’s why I sleep like a baby, wheras men like Neil Gaiman only manage to do so by deliberately ignoring atrocities like those depicted below.

But as Rob’s experience proves, it is no longer safe to share what is really happening to vulnerable children. So I suggest that you share this video as much as you can, but do so privately. Send it to your MP and state publicly somewhere that you have done so. Send it to your friend who is on the fence. Send it to Billy Bragg, Neil Gaiman, Aisling Bea, Cariad Lloyd and all the other celebrity enablers. Send it to Jesse Singal and Katie Herzog so they can’t wait till it’s safe to admit to knowing about it. Send it everywhere, but don’t do it on Twitter or any other public platform unless you’re locked down. Imagine if everyone saw The Call Is Coming From Inside The House, or at least knew its name, by the end of the year.
