I only realised it recently, through the trans debate, but the modern, identitarian Left is more interested in power than they are in being useful and right. Their whole intellectual and strategic model depends on trying to stop people from watching things like this and, God forbid, forming arguments from them. How many times did you see of Rowling’s moving essay on trans matters the words “don’t read it”? I saw it twice, and I don’t follow the kind of people who would say that.
