James Kirkup, one of the few journalists with the guts to have been covering this issue consistently for years, has come up with the concept of ‘Rowling’s Razor’.
Kirkup giving the argument this title is a stroke of genius, but it would be remiss not to mention that the question was originally posed by Jack Appleby, talking not about Rowling but the dreaded ‘TERFS’ who had been sent death and rape threats for years for not bending the knee to an ideology cooked up by grifting US academics and teenagers on Tumblr, and happily adopted by sex offenders, women-hating trolls and celebrities on Twitter terrified of looking unfashionable.
The ‘TERFS’ knew before anyone else that this was a corrupted form of feminism that centred and elevated men. And not just any men. Often, narcissistic, abusive, gaslighting men.
This brings me to ‘Katy’ Montgomerie.
Monty has that trans activist habit/tactic—adopted by politicians like Stella Creasy— of wriggling out of questions by changing the subject. This is how he decided not to answer Kirkup’s question.
Well, let’s see, shall we? Let’s see how sharp Montgomerie’s Razor is. Let’s see which groups end up condemning the attitude of Mara Forstater’s employers, as revealed so starkly yesterday in the gripping thread from her tribunal, and which groups ignore it.
Maya posted the excerpt from her witness statement that provides the full context.
This is, of course, pure homophobia, endorsed and echoed by Stonewall along with every organisation with too many letters after ‘LGB’.
LGB Alliance had this to say.
Meanwhile, not only have Stonewall failed to comment, but they are so arrogant that they openly display their contempt for lesbians by continuing to feature Morgan Page on their website. Yes, that’s Morgan Page, who ran the infamous ‘Overcoming The Cotton Ceiling’ workshop, in which crossdressing men were encouraged to “identify barriers” to getting laid “and strategise ways to overcome them”.
(Just noticed. Look who hosted the event. Planned Parenthood. What does coercive sexual harassment of lesbians have to do with birth control? I don’t know either, but I bet I know their position on Lia Thomas.)
Page was still on Stonewall’s website on the 17th of March, 2022. A screengrab below in case they delete it.
Remember, that’s Nancy Kelly and Ruth Hunt’s Stonewall, the same Stonewall that said lesbians were guilty of ‘sexual racism’, the same Stonewall that tried to get a lesbian barrister fired from her chambers. By continuing to launder this little creep’s image, Kelly is implicitly endorsing a form of coercive conversion therapy.
So yeah, there’s your answer, ‘Katy’. LGB Alliance are one of the few organisations standing against this kind of homophobia and you know it. Stop trying to gaslight us, because we see you.
I still find it amazing that people refuse to believe that JKR is concerned about the things she says she's concerned about.
Katie is beyond tedious. You're a man get over it.
