I bought a cheap-ass award for JK Rowling
I bought an award to replace the ‘Ripple of Hope’ award JK Rowling sent back to those misogynist cranks at the Robert Kennedy centre.
Not being a woman, it’s not really my place to present it so I’m going to send it to Woman’s Place UK so they can pass it on.
Love it! She deserves a Nobel prize for services to women and girls, but a Glinner makes a fine stopgap.
She's just astonishing isn't she? I really admire her. And the silence of the others. Just woeful. Although I suppose silence is better than ringing endorsement of the TRAs. I guess they are waiting for the tide to turn before they speak out. In other words when others have won the battle for them.
