From the interim findings of the Cass Report, to Wi Spa, to Lia Thomas, to a rape in the NHS, each day brings more news proving that the psychotic witchfinders of Twitter— Paisley, Aiden Comerford, Adrian Harrop, ‘Stephanie’ Hayden, Helen Islan, James Billingham, Owen Jones, ‘Joss’ Prior and really not many more—are wrong. There is no moral foundation for their sadistic activism.

The test now will be to see how long these men (it is mostly men) continue to be capable of destroying livelihoods after being proved so conclusively to be on the much-referenced wrong side of history. My worry is that the quiet people will continue to be quiet. By quiet people, I mean the ones who know what’s going on, know it’s wrong, but won’t do the right thing because it takes courage, even though each person who speaks up makes the next person a little braver.

These people who are in a position to help, yet don’t, should also examine their consciences.
