A lovely thing, for a change!

Last Monday I arrived in London and Arty Morty calls me and says “Do you want to go and see Dave Chappelle at a small venue?” I thought I had finally had my heart attack and arrived in heaven. DID I? We went to see him at Bush Hall, which coincidentally, was the same venue that hosted a big Team Terf occasion. It was him sitting on a stool, relaxed, admitting that we were a test audience for his upcoming SNL monologue. So this is almost identical to what we saw that night.

Identical except at the end, Dave broke character and said “Whaddya think?” and we applauded. It was lovely. Then did another thirty minutes of some of the best material I’ve ever seen from him. The Chuck Berry stuff, oh, my God.

What a night, and thank you again, Arty Morty!

I have three trans nonbinary kids. I never groomed them to be trans. All I did was tell them to believe in themselves and be who they are. I came out and they came out shortly after because they felt safe to be who they are. All of them chose new names and they/them pronouns.
