Trans identified men are happy to infantalise adult women. A significant number of them are happy to reduce women to outdated stereotypes that were the product of men's fantasies anyway. They're happy with it because they've lived male privilege as men and they live it when they claim to identify as women.
It's a bit like India Willoughby's reimagining of what women are or should be. Strangely, he oppresses women in the same ways men oppress women. He bullies them, talks over them, shouts at them, berates them for not shaving their body hair, or wearing heels and make up, etc. As a feminist writer whose name I can't recall said, 'he identifies as a woman but he doesn't identify with women'. Willoughby seems to like women about as much as the average misogynistic man does. What a surprise.
