David Paisley trying to destroy another gay community

Socrates has been at it again, not content with half quoting Allison Bailey he's now pushing an argument that Lesbian and Gay news is anti...er..... lesbians and gays. This is quite a brass neck from this fairly wooden actor who is determined to destroy Boyz magazine.

Lesbian and Gay News, (for which I write the legal commentary) is not, contrary to this GENIUS LEVEL slur anti-lesbian and gay. If it were it would be a stupid title to pick, doubly stupid to have lesbians and gays writing for it and triply stupid to write about lesbian and gay issues. 

Celebrating the fact the government got rid of woke imbeciles who purport to speak for all LGBT people is not homophobic, it's just a good thing for public policy generally. If the government could abolish David doing the same we'd fully support that and celebrate it. 

Boyz was an important part of gay culture once. Back before phones that was how you got info about everything from HIV to local nightclubs. David and his friends destroyed that. I remember Boyz being something newly come-out guys read in a corner once, it was important. 

I remember reading it and thinking how amazing it was to have something that finally represented me, people like me and showed us having fun and living lives. I remember being blown away by how liberating that was. While times change, Dave and his mates have taken that away. 

Now Socrates here is trying to organise grief for gay venues after a lockdown. To turn them into aggro places where politics are implemented by putting gay people in fear of being. This is not the gay movement. This is not debate. This is not diversity of thought. 

This man is a philosopher of tense misery and nothing else. A puritan who rips up newspapers and polices the drinking houses. An authoritarian with phoney talk of kindness. A terrible actor and a terrible person. 

This miserable, billowing puritan, puffed up on righteousness and at full sail, would have every golden field remade into a thousand minefields of pretended offence and minor slights. Like a lickspittle in church watching the congregation for a wrong word spoken in the creed. 

He will always be a watcher of other's words, a sneak, playing second fiddle to a bully, the squawking, giggling thing on Jabba's shoulder. A whipper-up of things stronger than he is. An angry beta male high on rectitude. A supporting actor and never the lead. 

A grass. A bully's useful henchman. A telltale. A twister of words. An unreliable witness. A shadow of what really happened. A version of reality. An enemy of the real thing. 

He’s an inflatable mimic of a hard man, a puffed-up weightless thing flatulently exhaling condemnation and denouncement as he wobbles away, slowly deflating into the copy of a thing that he is.

An ugly novelty pool toy three summers past best use.
