Ask your MP The Staniland Question

Write to your MP using this website or whatever means you prefer. Ask them The Staniland Question, perhaps explaining that this is what mainstream trans activists (including Stonewall UK) are demanding.
State in public in as many different ways as you can that you have asked the question and are awaiting a response. Use local press, local radio, anything you can, to highlight that the MP has seen the letter and is yet to respond. This part is very important!
