Monday 11th July - Uncivil Servants
THE TELEGRAPH: Civil service officials tried to derail Kemi Badenoch’s plans for single-sex toilets in public buildings.
We have written previously about the influence of the trans lobby over the civil service. Now former equalities minister, Kemi Badenoch, has described the battle she had with Whitehall officials over her plan to scrap so-called ‘gender neutral’ (ie mixed sex) toilet facilities in public buildings.
Speaking at a free speech event in the House of Lords this week, Badenoch revealed how difficult it was to push for these reforms. “I had civil servants writing on the notice which I had put out saying that ‘you can’t say that’ and ‘we need to check whether that’s something you are allowed to say’.”

CHESHIRE LIVE: A trans-identified male has taken a place on a women’s football team and is being celebrated by the local FA.
52-year-old Pippa Henry is a very recently trans-identified male.
Henry admits he was a ‘rubbish’ football player in his youth and did not take up the sport until he was over forty when he played on a male team at Tranmere Rovers. After he began identifying as trans in his late 40s, he continued to play in a male league but also played ‘mum’s football’ with a Stoke City women’s team.
He now plays in goal for Crewe FC women’s team. “I can't play male football anymore because I'm a woman”, said Henry, who is the father of three children.
Cheshire Football Association is so supportive of males taking opportunities away from women players that it has appointed Henry as a ‘Trans Community Champion’. Greg McLean, Cheshire FA’s Business Development Manager, told the paper, “We've obviously got our male pathway, female pathway, or disability pathway. We work with clubs and leagues, but we're also now trying to become a more inclusive provider, by working with members of the trans community… We're looking to ensure that football is for everybody, and that people feel comfortable enough to go and play the game that they love.”
Perhaps that ‘inclusivity’ would be better served by creating opportunities for trans-identified males on the men’s teams? It’s hard to believe that ‘football is for everybody’ when women are being excluded to make way for male players.
Tuesday 12th July - The Un-Democratic Democrats
NEW YORK POST: Congress candidate, Maud Maron, is being ‘cancelled’ by her own party because she won’t drink the gender identity koolaid.
Maud Maron is a former legal aid lawyer who is running in the Democratic primary in New York’s 10th district. She speaks out about gender ideology and women’s sex-based rights and is particularly vocal about all the advantages enjoyed by the trans-identified males who compete in women’s sports.
Maron was effectively de-platformed by her own party this week when a group of Democratic clubs refused to allow her to participate in a congressional forum.
The groups involved - Lambda Independent Democrats, New Kings Democrats, Brooklyn Young Democrats, South Brooklyn United for Progressive and Equality New York - called Maron a bigot and accused her of spreading ‘hate and misinformation about gender identity’. They claimed her views could lead to the justification of ‘violence against transgender people, particularly transgender women’.
Such hyperbole because Maron knows that sex is real and that it matters.
Maron told the NYP that the Democratic Party needs to ‘find a backbone and have a conversation about the issue’. She commented, “You can call a man a transgender woman but he’s still a man. There’s nothing violent about sharing an opinion.”

RIC MAIS: Two teenage girls were physically assaulted after speaking up against a male using the female-only bathrooms at their school.
A video being shared on social media shows two female students physically assaulted outside their school, Colégio Instituto de Educação in Maringá, Brazil. According to the family of one of the victims, the attack was a punishment for the girls voicing concerns about a trans-identified male student who uses the female facilities. One of the alleged assailants is a ‘non-binary’ male who uses the school’s female bathrooms. It is reported that the teenage girls he attacked had complained to school officials about his doing so.
The video footage was recorded by other students at the school. It shows the trans-identified male and his friend approach the girls who were waiting at a bus stop after class. In the ensuing altercation, one of the female students is pushed to the ground and the other is dragged to the floor by her hair and hit repeatedly in the head.
According to an article in Reduxx, there is a longer version of the video circulating on Facebook in which the trans-identified male student can be heard saying, “Next time you’re transphobic I’ll break your bones”.
The family of one of the girls has filed a police report over this incident. They say that she is considering a transfer to another institution as she is too frightened to return to her school.
Thursday 14th July - Intolerable Cruelty
UNHERD: Hadley Freeman interviewed ‘Sarah’, the woman who is suing Survivors’ Network.
From the age of eight, Sarah was sexually abused for years by a family friend. In her 20s, she was beaten and raped by a man from her friendship group. She has suffered with panic attacks ever since.
In her forties, she sought a place to heal at Brighton’s Survivors’ Network. Initially, she felt that she’d found a safe and supportive women-only space in which to begin that process. Then one evening she walked into her weekly rape crisis support group and found a male was present. Survivors’ Network has a ‘trans inclusive’ policy and they ‘actively welcome’ males into their supposedly female-only groups if those males ‘self-identify as women’. Sarah said there was no indication that this male was socially or medically transitioning; he simply looked like a man.
Sarah decided that she would remain silent for this session, unable to speak openly with a male present. However, the group’s facilitator asked her to contribute and she felt compelled to do so in order to make this man feel included. She tried to talk about being raped. She suffered a panic attack.
Sarah subsequently requested a female-only group but was told, “We do not police gender and we do not define who is and is not a woman; we allow women to define this for themselves.” Despite there being services solely for trans people, there are no strictly female-only rape crisis groups in the whole of Sussex. She had nowhere to go.
Sarah is now suing Survivors Network for sex discrimination.
Horrifyingly, she has suffered an outpouring of abuse and accusations of transphobia for taking this action. And not just from the usual misogynists who hate it when a ‘bitch’ tries to assert her boundaries…
…but from high profile professional women who appear to have not one ounce of compassion or empathy for a woman who’s suffered the trauma of male violence.
Sarah told Hadley Freeman, “The levels of anger and vitriol against me, all because I asked for a single-sex rape support group. I just don’t understand it.”
However, she explained why, despite all the abuse and the tremendous anxiety it causes, she is still determined to press ahead with her legal action.
“This whole situation is so wrong. Survivors’ Network is not fit for purpose. It’s telling women to put aside their feelings in order to access help. Of course I’m not saying trans women shouldn’t be helped by rape services, and it’s great there are mixed-sex groups for people who feel comfortable with that. I don’t want to stop that at all. But there should also be single-sex ones. This is a government-funded service. We deserve to have the support we need…
Since I launched my case I’ve heard from so many women who say they stopped going to their groups for the same reason, but they didn’t want to say anything, and I thought about doing that — just going away and staying quiet. But I couldn’t do that anymore. It’s enough.”
Friday 15th July - This Never Happens
REDUXX: A trans-identified male is alleged to have murdered a woman at a psychiatric hospital in Germany despite warnings that he posed a danger.
At the beginning of June, German news outlet, Süddeutsche Zeitung, reported on the murder of a woman at a psychiatric hospital in Haar, near Munich.
The victim’s body was discovered by firefighters who had originally been called to tackle a blaze in a room on the ground floor of a hospital. The police were then alerted. The woman had suffered severe head injuries and her body paced underneath a number of mattresses and items of clothing which were then set alight.
A 32-year-old male suspect was arrested at the scene. He is said to have been in possession of an iron bar and a cigarette lighter when apprehended.
Two days later another newspaper, The Münchner Merkur, reported that the suspect is a trans-identified male. Stephan Beer, head of the homicide commission, told the paper that the suspect is ‘male in appearance’ but is ‘diversely assigned’. He also said that the suspect was known to the police, having been previously investigated for assault on a number of occasions.
The suspect had been taken to the hospital by police only the day prior to the murder. According to news outlet, Bild, he had killed his own pet dog and announced that his next victim would be a human being. Despite being warned that the man posed a danger, hospital authorities took no action to protect their other patients.
Saturday 16th July - Is Nothing Sacred?
REDUXX: Trans activists have destroyed a memorial to infants killed by shaken baby syndrome because they deemed its creators to be TERFs.
French feminist group, l’Amazone, is known for creating street art and organising demonstrations in support of various feminist causes, particularly the abolition of the sex trade and domestic violence. Both the group and its founder, radical feminist and artist, Marguerite Stern, have been targeted by trans activists in the past.
Two years ago trans activists broke into L’Amazone’s female-only communal space. They changed the locks, shut the women out of their own commune and vandalised their artwork. They even defaced a work honouring a woman who had been murdered by her male partner by plastering over it with a drawing of a penis.
In March 2021 Marguerite Stern was in Paris as part of an organised action against the sexual exploitation of women. Yet again, she became a target for violent ‘queer activists’. Not only were she and her fellow feminists (some of whom were sex trade survivors) physically attacked, but someone threw an egg in her face.
In recent weeks l’Amazone has been involved the creation of a street mural intended as a memorial to 14 babies killed by the brain trauma known as shaken baby syndrome (SBS). The group had been invited to help create the collage by three of the grieving mothers whose babies, murdered by their male partners, featured in it. The artwork was to form part of a documentary about SBS in which the mothers were interviewed about their loss.
On 14th July, the director of the documentary, Anne, released a YouTube video expressing her anger that the collage had been vandalised by trans activists. She explained that her camerawoman had caught two people destroying the memorial the previous night and asked them why they would do such a terrible thing. The vandals replied that the collage had been created by ‘transphobic feminists’.
“They didn’t care that this memorial was for the grieving mothers” said Anne. They don’t care about the memory of those babies who died in excruciating pain… they just ransacked it.”
Sunday 17th July - Men Make The Best Women
NEW YORK POST: The University of Pennsylvania has nominated Lia Thomas for the National Collegiate Athletic Association 2022 Woman of the Year award.
The NCAA Woman of the Year award was created in 1991 to honour “Female student athletes who have academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of graduating female college athletes from all three divisions”.
Former NCAA swimming champion, Marshi Smith, said that this nomination shows that UPenn is ‘doubling down on their anti-woman campaign’.
Riley Gaines, a University of Kentucky swimmer who was also nominated for the award, commented on Twitter, “This is yet another slap in the face to women. First a female national title and now nominated for the pinnacle award in collegiate athletics. The NCAA has made this award worthless.”
As Martina Navratilova so rightly put it, “Not enough fabulous biological women athletes, NCAA?!? What is wrong with you?!!!!!!!?”
Quite.
See you next week.
"Dr" Fern Riddell:
"If the anti-trans agenda has SO much money and SO much support and is SO right, why haven’t they set up their own services? Way more simple than targeting inclusive services and organisations. Unless of course, your goal is not protecting women, but eradicating trans people."
First of all, and just as a general point, having "SO much money" and "SO much support" does not automatically connect with being "SO right" or indeed being right at all. Indeed, this has to be emphasised since it is clear that the Trans lobby have no shortage of money and support.
Second, this is not an "anti-trans" agenda but a service that is supposed to protect vulnerable women who have suffered male violence. Message to those waving the self-identified "trans" banner: Not everything is about you! And this certainly isn't!
Thirdly, this service to protect women should not have to "set up their own services". THEY ALREADY HAD THEIR OWN SERVICES WHICH HAVE BEEN UNDERMINED AND DESTROYED.
Fourthly, the objection to an alleged targeting of "inclusive services and organisations" and a concern with "not protecting women, but eradicating trans people" takes us away from that clearly defined category WOMEN and back to this vague vaporous TRANS.
The more I read these horror stories, the more I notice the same word popping up over and over again - inclusion. I am actually becoming adverse to it now. For me it now means the opposite of what it used to mean. It stands for the exclusion of biological women. It's the word that is holding the civil service and so many other institutions, businesses and bodies to ransom too. Diversity and inclusion - all the stale, pale and male senior bosses are falling over themselves to tick that diversity and inclusion box and they either don't know or don't care who they are throwing under the bus to get their big fat D&I tick in the box. HR departments are completley complicit putting in place policies that favour anyone that ups their D&I points without thought to real sustainable change that includes everyone. It's why we have a womens network that has been renamed the women's inclusion network, because now anyone can join.
