Monday 25th October - These Are Not Our Crimes
BIRMINGHAM MAIL: A violent man who left a woman disfigured has requested accommodation in a female prison.
61-year-old Kali Gills ‘identifies as a woman’ but he is a violent and dangerous man. In November 2020 he left a woman with life-altering injuries after tearing at her face with his teeth. The pair had been drinking together at Gill’s Birmingham home when they apparently had a ‘disagreement’ prior to the victim leaving the flat. Gills chased the woman into the street and brutally assaulted her, biting off her nose.
The woman subsequently underwent major skin grafts for the facial injuries that have been described as ‘permanent and irreversible’ and will require yet further surgery. She is in constant pain, needs ongoing counselling and says her life is destroyed.
Even though he has no gender recognition certificate, the Birmingham Mail reported this case referring to Gills as a woman and affording him female pronouns.
At Birmingham Crown Court last week Gills pleaded guilty to wounding with intent, an offence which carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. Gills’ barrister argued that a lengthy jail term would impact his plans to have gender reassignment surgery. Judge Avik Mukherjee imposed a sentence of four years.
Gills requested a move to the female estate which Judge Mukherjee said he couldn't deal with immediately but would consider in the near future.
The man bit off a woman’s nose in a violent frenzy. How on earth can his request to be housed with vulnerable women even be entertained?
Tuesday 26th October - There Is Power (For Men) In A Union
THE HERALD: The STUC women’s conference opposed a motion to protect women and girls’ single sex services.
The Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) annual Women’s Conference was held this week to discuss the issues affecting women both in and out of the workplace.
The Paisley and District Trades Council moved a motion to protect the female single sex services as defined under the Equality Act 2010.
The STUC’s Women’s Committee recommended that delegates oppose the motion and issued a statement in an attempt to defend this position.
The opening paragraph makes STUC priorities perfectly clear; “The STUC Women’s Committee fully supports the Equality Act (2010) Single Sex Exemptions to deliver provisions for Women and Girls, including Trans Women”. The committee is either being deliberately obtuse or it doesn’t know what ‘single sex’ means.
The statement goes on; “Having considered the additional information submitted by Paisley and District Trades Union Council and the content within this information, the Committee were alarmed at some of the language used, in particular, the risk of the motion misgendering trans women and reference to ‘men’ and ‘able-bodied men who identify as women’ accessing single-sex provisions protected for Women and Girls.”
Aside from the obvious denial of reality and the prioritising of trans-identified males over the safety and dignity of women and girls, the argument is flawed. The statement challenges the wording of the additional information. However, it is the content of the motion that goes forward for policy, not the comments made in support. The committee ignores that the wording of the motion is the current legal position.
The conference opposed the motion.
As Susan Dalgety writes, “Male violence is a terrible reality for many women. That is why we need single-sex spaces. It is not bigoted to ask that they are protected. Or transphobic. It’s practical feminism. It’s solidarity with our sisters. Something the STUC Women’s Committee seems to have abandoned.”
The STUC represents over 250,000 female workers.
Wednesday 27th October - These Are Not Our Crimes #2
4W: A trans-identified male paedophile in Washington USA has been convicted of his fourth offence relating to child pornography.
Monica Raeven Linker, whose original name is Michael Noah Bedford, was apprehended in an FBI sting operation. His devices were seized and found to contain ‘significant’ evidence of disturbing material. He pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. This was Linker's fourth offence related to child pornography with charges dating back to 2009.
Of course, the media reported his crimes as having been committed by a woman.
Meanwhile, over the border in Canada, a convicted murderer and sex offender is now claiming to be transgender.
73-year-old Roger Dale Badour is serving a life sentence for the fatal shooting of a woman ten years ago. He also has a previous conviction for the brutal sexual assault of a pregnant woman.
Shortly before his recent (and unsuccessful) effort to be paroled, Badour began ‘identifying as a woman’. It now seems he is attempting a move to a women’s prison.
Thursday 28th October - Stock Hounded Out
A couple of weeks ago we reported on the trans activists harassing feminist lesbian academic, Professor Kathleen Stock at Sussex University.
She has been subjected to bullying, intimidation and threats to her career and personal safety. Most recently, an anonymous group calling itself ‘Anti Terf Sussex’ seems to have instigated a campaign of harassment and aggression against her.
The bullies have won this one and Kathleen Stock has resigned from the University of Sussex. Vice Chancellor, Adam Tickell, issued a statement; “We had hoped that Professor Stock would feel able to return to work, and we would have supported her to do so. She has decided that recent events have meant that this will not be possible, and we respect and understand that decision”.
Friday 29th October - Leave Them Kids Alone
GENSPECT: Parents in Florida are taking legal action after their daughter’s school encouraged her gender identity and kept it a secret from them.
In August 2020 two Florida parents, the Littlejohns, informed Deerlake Middle School that their 13-year-old daughter was experiencing some confusion over her gender for which she was receiving counselling. The couple gave permission for the school to use a nickname but for no other form of social transition.
Over the next month the school referred to the child with they/them pronouns, inquired about her bathroom preferences and even asked if she’d prefer to be accommodated with male pupils during an overnight school trip. Furthermore, they developed a secret “Transgender/Non-Conforming Student Support Plan” with the child which included a directive that her parents were not to be informed. The Littlejohns had no idea that any of this was happening.
When they sought more information from school officials, they were told that ‘by law’ only their daughter could authorize them being informed or involved. No legal verification could be provided to support this position but the Littlejohns were supplied with a copy of the school board’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender Nonconforming and Questioning Support Guide, which states:
“1) Parents are not to be informed when their children announce that they identify as transgender
2) Children who express gender confusion are permitted to choose which restroom they will use and that parents will not be notified of such decisions by their own children
3) Children have a legally protected right to keep from their parents information regarding their gender identity and steps taken by the district to affirm that identity.”
The Littlejohns requested the immediate removal of this guide and a replacement policy which allows for parental notification. The school refused.
Consequently, the couple have now filed a federal lawsuit against the Leon County School Board, asserting that it violated their parental rights.
Also Today - It’s Not About Stereotypes, Though
THE ADVOCATE: A male high school student has been crowned his school’s homecoming queen.
Zachary Willmore is a senior and varsity cheerleader at Rock Bridge High School in Missouri. He has a huge social media following which he uses to protest his school’s dress policy, arguing it should be more ‘inclusive’.
Last week Willmore won the title of school Homecoming Queen. Instead of being angry, the young women who should be protesting a title intended for a female student was bestowed on a man, applauded Willmore and celebrated his victory.
Here’s a (rhetorical) question for all involved; why can’t a feminine gay man in a long gold evening gown be crowned the school’s Homecoming King?
Saturday 30th October - The Right Side of History
WOMAN’S PLACE UK: Abusive trans activists picketed a WPUK meeting in action organised by an SWP member.
Last week WPUK held a meeting with approximately 600 attendees and an all-female panel to discuss the plight of women in prison. “It was a meeting which would have been of interest to any socialist or feminist as it was discussing the cruelties of the prison system and alternatives to it for vulnerable working-class women.”
Someone identifying themselves on social media as a member of the Socialist Workers Party tried to organise a protest of this meeting, tweeting its time and location and encouraging people to agitate against it.
The WPUK event coincided with a conference for black people in business. Attendees at both meetings, stewards and venue staff were subjected to a barrage of extreme racist and misogynistic abuse from the trans activists who turned up.
Here are just a few examples of the behaviour they encountered:
WPUK wrote an open letter to the SWP, calling on it to make a public statement condemning the racism, ageism and misogyny demonstrated by the protestors.
The SWP issued a very brief and mealy-mouthed response which begins, “Trans people are facing a barrage of attacks. The Socialist Workers Party (SWP) stands with the oppressed and unequivocally says, ‘Trans women are women’ and ‘Trans men are men’. Trans people have the right to organise against their oppression and the right to protest against it”.
It goes on to state that the SWP did not organise or encourage the protest outside the Woman’s Place UK meeting. It acknowledges that two of the protestors are SWP members and claims it will investigate ‘the unacceptable sexist language and behaviour’ used by ‘one of those individuals’ towards ‘a woman involved in the WPUK meeting’.
One individual? One woman? Which footage were they watching?
The SWP statement also comments, “We stood in solidarity with the trans students and workers at the University of Sussex who were rightly outraged by Kathleen Stock’s views.”
The Socialist Workers Party ‘stood in solidarity’ with a gang of activists who created a situation in which the police had to put a priority marker on a woman’s phone and she was eventually hounded out of her job.
Sunday 31st October - Tail Wags Dog
THE SUNDAY TIMES: Students and staff at Leeds University are demanding that the Vice-Chancellor instigate a ‘pronoun policy’ to ‘show support for the transgender community’.
In August, LGBT staff and student groups and the Leeds branch of the University and College Union wrote to the incoming Vice-Chancellor, Simone Buitendijk. They demanded ‘an effective and fit-for-purpose pronouns policy to be enacted’ which, they said, should include the VC using pronouns in her email signature and ‘a culture which encourages the sharing of pronouns’ in meetings and seminars.
The letter accused the university of having ‘a deeply entrenched culture of transphobia’. The examples cited as proof of this were people being ‘misgendered’ by colleagues who, in some cases, did not apologise before being asked and an IT system which occasionally shows up a ‘deadname’, posing ‘a significant safety risk’.
In this upside-down nonsense movement, one’s former name appearing on paperwork somehow creates a ‘hostile environment’ whereas threats and harassment directed against a female academic are deemed perfectly acceptable.

How is ‘Anti Terf Sussex’ not a hate group?
It should be incredible that Gills barrister asked the court to be mindful that a lengthy prison sentence might impede his client's future plans for gender reassignment surgery. It's not incredible at all, the same applies to the seemingly unconditional acceptance that this hideous, violent man, who brutally assaulted a woman, is himself a woman.
This man is clearly nothing but an opportunist, everyone involved knows it. But we been forced into an scandalous mess through misogynistic bullying, high level manipulation and cowardly acquiescence. Women's lives and basic safety mean so little to those who can affect change, that they will prioritise the feelings of a dangerous man who says he's a woman. Are we really so expendable and disposable?
