Monday 8th August - The Clocks Were Striking Thirteen In Germany
UNHERD: German government plans will allow children as young as 14 to ‘choose their own gender’ and make ‘deadnaming’ illegal.
Germany is to introduce legislation which will allow anyone over the age of 14 to alter their legal sex without requiring any medical diagnosis or treatment. It will also criminalise the use of a trans person’s former name.
Transsexual writer and science teacher, Debbie Hayton, warns this legislation will have serious repercussions.
“If biological sex is an important characteristic to record and protect — and I think it is — then children will be left vulnerable. Those drafting the bill might have convinced themselves that they were de-medicalising the process, but instead they are replacing fact with fantasy… Transsexualism is a medical process involving powerful drugs and mutilating surgeries. But it’s surely much harder for doctors to first do no harm, and refer a child for psychotherapy when their legal papers indicate that they are the opposite sex already.”
One of Germany’s leading campaigners for self ID legislation was, coincidentally, also in the news this week. Trans-identified male, Tessa Ganserer, is a politician with Germany’s Alliance '90/The Greens party and was due to speak at Hamburg’s Dyke March on Sunday.
Tessa (formerly Markus) Ganserer is a heterosexual husband and father who began ‘identifying as a woman’ at the end of 2018. He believes that ‘a penis is not a male sexual organ’ and describes himself as a lesbian.
Since adopting his ‘female identity’ Ganserer has made numerous appearances at events specifically for and about women. Last year, for example, he took part in a demonstration for lesbian visibility organized by Dyke March Nürnberg and in April he spoke at an event called Women*. Power. Politics.
He was elected to the Bundestag, Germany’s federal government, in September 2021. The Greens’ own rules allow males to self-identify into roles designated for women so, even though he is still legally male, he took a seat reserved for a female politician.
The consequences of self ID legislation for the Germany’s women are already painfully obvious.

THE POST MILLENNIAL: A free speech event in Philadelphia was sabotaged by trans activists who tried to silence and intimidate the women speakers.
A women’s rights group organised a ‘speakers’ corner’ event at Independence Park in Philadelphia on Sunday. “A gathering of voices where we exercise our right to free speech. All voices are welcome and encouraged.”
Even prior to the event, trans activists planned to encroach upon and sabotage women exercising their legal right to gather and speak. (ACT UP Philadelphia describes itself as a group “Committed to ending the AIDS crisis through direct action”. But how ending the AIDS crisis is achieved by intimidating women into silence is anyone’s guess.)
Only minutes into the event, trans activists descended and, using drums, noise makers, megaphones, chanting and loud music, tried to drown out the voices of the women speaking.
When feminist campaigner and writer, Kara Danksy, was speaking at the microphone, the activists crowded around her and shouted in her face. One tried to grab the mic she was holding and shouted, “Shut the fuck up” at her while another repeatedly rammed her with a flag despite her repeated requests not to make physical contact. Others activists screamed “TERFs go home” continually into megaphones while she was trying to speak.
The police arrived at the scene very soon afterwards.
Kara Dansky told the paper, “The park police were completely unprepared for what happened. Those protesting us were permitted to grab our signage and our equipment. They were permitted to position themselves physically between us and our camera and to make hand gestures that easily could have become violent assaults”.

DAILY MAIL US: A 4-year-old girl announced her ‘transition’ at Vancouver’s pride parade, cheered on by family and friends.
Charlie Danger Lloyd is a little girl who lives in Vancouver. According to her mother, Alaina Bourrel, Charlie has ‘wanted to be a boy’ since the age of two. Charlie now uses he/him pronouns and is four months into ‘transition’. Charlie is just four years old.
Bourrel said that Charlie wanted to look ‘just like daddy’ when she was a toddler. “He [sic] wasn't your typical little girl. He [sic] would play with other boys and the parents would say he [sic] was more of a boy than their own children.”
So, already sold the notion that her likes and preferences are ‘wrong’ for girls, Charlie decided that she no longer wanted to wear ‘girls’ clothing’ and wanted her hair cut short. “We made an appointment with Lia at Big Bros Barbershop, a trans-owned and operated salon in East Vancouver”, Bourrel told the paper. “After leaving the salon that afternoon, Charlie was a completely new child.”
Choosing a short haircut and preferring trousers over a skirt constitutes ‘transition’ according to Bourrel. Attending the Vancouver Pride Parade last week, Charlie announced this ‘transition’ with a blue ‘gender reveal’ cannon while a beaming grandma held her hand and the crowd cheered her on.
The family's ‘close entourage’ has been extremely supportive of Charlie’s ‘transition’, said Bourrel. “His [sic] choices were not questioned and he was congratulated and everyone began using new pronouns”.
That poor little girl doesn’t stand a chance, does she?

THE TIMES: A group of UCU members planned a witch-hunt of university staff to discover and inform on those holding gender critical views.
The University and College Union (UCU) represents over 120,000 academics on UK campuses. The Times has revealed that a group of UCU activists planned to compile a list of gender critical staff and inform on them to their local union branch.
At a UCU meeting in September 2021, the LGBT members standing committee agreed to email a survey to LGBT members at universities across the country. According to the meeting’s minutes, the purpose of this survey was to root out gender critical staff employed in HR departments. “The last question is to get information about how many HR and senior HR staff/consultants are gender critical and then to inform branches, so that they are aware of any problems which may arise in a particular branch… Some of the EDI consultants are transphobes and prominent gender critical activists.”
The UCU has also been criticised for encouraging trans activists in campaigns against gender critical feminist academics, rather than supporting and defending them. Kathleen Stock, Jo Grady and Shereen Benjamin have all been targeted, harassed and threatened because of their gender critical views.
Kathleen Stock left the University of Sussex after a campaign of ‘bullying and harassment’. Jo Grady resigned from the Open University after being hounded and harassed for her gender critical views. Shereen Benjamin, a lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, was targeted by colleagues after speaking out about sex and gender.
In all cases the UCU not only failed to support these women, it has been accused of encouraging the trans activists who campaigned against them.
Shereen Benjamin told The Times, “Lecturers have confided in me that they are scared to teach sex and gender critically, or to prompt students to question and consider alternatives. People are intimidated… Academic freedom and freedom of expression should be front and centre of a union for academics. Younger academics desperately need a union that will fight for them when their views conflict with the orthodoxies of the day. Sadly, at the moment, UCU isn’t that union.”

RTÉ: Ireland continues to send children to the Tavistock despite the serious safety issues raised by the Cass Review and some senior Irish clinicians.
Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE) has defended its relationship with the Tavistock clinic in the UK. Under the the HSE’s treatment abroad scheme, Irish children suffering gender issues have been treated at the Tavistock with, according to RTÉ, 238 children being referred since 2015.
The Cass Review found that the clinic overlooked possible co-morbidities in its patients, failed to collect data on the use and side effects of potentially harmful puberty blockers and that the current model of care was leaving young people ‘at considerable risk’ of poor mental health and distress. Consequently, it is to be closed down within the year.
Articles published in The Irish Independent last week show that senior clinicians issued warnings to the HSE about the treatment provided by the Tavistock clinic over three years ago.
Despite all this, the HSE claims that there is no evidence to support the concerns being raised about the clinic. Dr Siobhán Ní Bhriain, the HSE’s national lead for integrated care, stated, “We will continue to refer while the Tavistock is still open”.
Meanwhile, in England, lawyers are preparing a group litigation against the Tavistock clinic, anticipating around 1,000 clients will join the action.
Tom Goodhead, chief executive of law firm, Pogust Goodhead, told The Times, “Children and young adolescents were rushed into treatment without the appropriate therapy and involvement of the right clinicians, meaning that they were misdiagnosed and started on a treatment pathway that was not right for them. These children have suffered life-changing and, in some cases, irreversible effects of the treatment they received”.

HERALD SUN: Female inmates at a women’s prison in Australia have launched a petition to remove a trans-identified male sex offender over safety fears.
Women at the Dame Phyllis Frost Correctional Centre in Victoria told the paper that the trans-identified male prisoner was transferred in July.
Petitioners say that they are fearful of their safety as the inmate is an intact male with a history of sexual assault. Many female prisoners have suffered sexual abuse and “Carry significant trauma associated with this experience”. The petition goes on, “We feel threatened, unsafe, distressed and traumatised with this current situation. Accordingly, we demand that (the inmate) be immediately”.
While the name of the inmate has not been released, Reduxx has suggested that the details about his background are identical to those of Lisa Jones, a trans-identified male who was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in Melbourne last year.
Jones pleaded guilty to sexual assault and assault with intent to commit a sexual offence in December. He had followed a young woman who was walking home. He grabbed her, told her to “Lie down and have sex with me”, physically restrained her, tried to pull off her clothes and forced his hands into her underwear.
During the trial it was revealed that he had been imprisoned in Germany prior to his transition for sexually abusing a six-year-old girl.

SUDINFO BELGUIM: A trans-identified male has been arrested on charges of human trafficking for purposes of sexual exploitation.
34-year-old Celeste Rivasplata was Miss Transgender Peru in 2019 and 2020 and Miss International Peru in 2021. He is a Latin American celebrity and social media influencer with thousands of followers. In recent years he has been a vocal advocate of self ID legislation and appeared on various TV programmes in support of changing Peru’s laws.
In July Rivasplata was arrested in Brussels charged with human trafficking for the purposes of sexual exploitation. According to La Meuse, he would solicit vulnerable young people from Peru, promising them a better life in Belgium.
Having already paid a fee to Rivasplata’s father in Peru, the young people arrived in Belgium only for Rivasplata to confiscate their passports. He told them that their debt had to be paid through prostitution and he threatened to harm their families if they failed to comply. It is believed that Rivasplata rented numerous apartments where he housed the victims, advertising them online to johns.
Rivasplata was initially housed in a female prison before being released on bail last week.

IRISH INDEPENDENT: The world renown Rose of Tralee Competition is now open to trans-identified males.
The Rose of Tralee festival is a huge international event which is celebrated among Irish communities all over the world. Regional heats take place in various different locations but the final is always held in Tralee, County Kerry, and televised on RTÉ. The annual festival takes its name and inspiration from a 19th-century ballad about a young woman whose extreme beauty earned her the title the Rose of Tralee.
Originally, only women from Tralee were eligible to take part in the festival but, in 1967, participation was opened up to all women of Irish birth or ancestry. The winner is selected on the basis of her personality as well as her beauty and is expected to be a role-model for the festival and an ambassador for Ireland.
After a two-year Covid-enforced break, the Rose of Tralee festival is now making a return. This year the criteria for entrants has been extended to include married women (previous regulations required participants to be single) and to extend the upper age limit to twenty-nine years old.
The Rose of Tralee is also now open to trans-identified males. A festival intended to celebrate Irish womanhood bars females over 30 but is open to a man with a penis.
Cheering on this inclusion of males in the Rose of Tralee festival was the National Women’s Council Ireland (NWCI) which seems intent on erasing females, one event at a time.

THE TELEGRAPH: A human resources advisor at The University of Sheffield was ousted from his role in EDI because of his support for Kathleen Stock.
The former employee, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals, had been an equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) adviser at the University of Sheffield for over two years, working on LGBT+ inclusion and a race equality action plan. However, he was forced to leave this role over allegations that his gender critical views ‘created friction with key stakeholders’.
In October 2021, his colleagues complained to managers about him signing a ‘statement of solidarity’ supporting Kathleen Stock. The anonymous staff members described themselves as ‘senior LGBT+ champions’ and, in a letter sent to Professor Gill Valentine, the university’s deputy vice-chancellor, and Ian Wright, the HR director, claimed his signing the statement (alongside 2,800 other staff from other universities) was “Particularly concerning given his role in EDI work at the university”.
The letter also complained about views he had expressed on his personal Twitter account, questioning the inclusion of trans-identified males in Girlguiding. Furthermore, it objected to him inviting the Equiano Project, a free-speech discussion and ideas forum which focuses on race, culture and politics and was founded by a black woman, Inaya Folarin Iman, to the university.
Within the month, the EDI adviser was informed that he could no longer work in LGBT+ and race equality at the university and was moved to a different section of the HR team. There was no formal investigation and his appeal and request for an apology through whistleblowing procedures were rejected. The university told him that his treatment was ‘appropriate in the circumstances’ as “A formal process would not have been a supportive one for you”.
In July, he felt he had no choice but to leave the university and is now speaking out about his experiences to warn of the ‘ideological bubble’ of senior leaders ‘crumbling’ to ‘dictatorial’ trade union activists.
He told The Telegraph, “The far Left have hijacked important issues and senior leaders in universities have folded under that pressure and are actively removing anyone who dares to make their legal views known”.

THE OBSERVER: A group of clinicians wrote an open letter to the Royal College of Psychiatrists following its statement in response to the Cass Review .
The open letter, signed by 27 senior clinicians, expresses concerns about the medical treatment of trans identified patients, the extent of Stonewall’s influence and the shutting down of debate. Furthermore, it describes how, two years ago, some of the signatories visited the president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists to discuss specific clinical and safeguarding issues. They were, it seems, ignored.
“Sonia Sodha writes that ‘the information commissioner has found that Stonewall operates a ‘significant degree of influence’ over members of its workplace index, in which organisations compete to show how aligned they are with its worldview” (Don’t buy the Stonewall line on gender identity? Fine, you can’t be sacked for that now, Comment, 31 July).
This certainly holds true in our medical royal colleges, regulatory bodies and NHS trusts, where a climate of fear prevents doctors voicing serious concerns about the care of trans-identified patients. The cancellation of a trainee conference titled How Can Child Psychiatrists Help Gender-Questioning Young People by Health Education England further demonstrates the shutting down of debate.
A group of us met the president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists two years ago and evidenced specific clinical and safeguarding concerns from a sample of psychiatric trainees related to the care of these patients. We questioned if the college’s position statement reflected the views of its members. Our request for a survey to ascertain psychiatrists’ concerns and experience in this area was dismissed and the RCP’s response clearly followed the Stonewall line.
The college’s statement on the closure of the Tavistock gender identity clinic fails to recognise the substance of the Cass interim review and disavows its responsibilities to patients and members who have doubts that the affirmation-approach (an experimental therapeutic stance imported from the US) and WPATH (World Professional Association for Transgender Health) guidelines are fit for purpose.
We urge the college to reconsider its membership of Stonewall’s contentious workplace index and think of its obligation to promote holistic and compassionate care that takes full account of the complexity of patients’ lived experiences.”
See you next week.
Just briefly scanning through JL's compilation of the ever-increasing insanity of the 'gender' cult makes me ultra grateful for the brave souls pushing back against the insanity. I cannot imagine a world where all this nonsense became the never-ending law of the land. I for one could not live in such a world -- a world where the lunatics reign supreme. A world where sane people who recognize biological reality are the enemy. Deluded and bullying men thieving the very existence of women. Four year old psyches messed up. It would be unbearable. The only way it's slightly bearable now is knowing that the cult's days are numbered. Thank you to JL and Glinner for creating this invaluable archive of 'gender' insanity.
Just too fucking depressing and angering to read all at once. In order to avoid punching the wall and breaking some fingers, it'll have to be a gradual process. A photo of a bearded, balding adult male with a cock, claiming to be a woman, and people, including women accepting that would make a vaguely amusing, if tasteless piss take. And the kid being subjected to parental fantasy is being so severely abused, she should not be in their custody.
