A handful of good news stories from the gender beat to raise a smile this week.

Some splendid examples of feminist activism in Cardiff.
Mister Mister
Adrian Harrop’s suspension is still active. Just wanted to remind everyone.
Hypocrisy Corner
Be careful your irony meter doesn’t blow a gasket.
Very Fond Of Fond Of Beetles
Enjoy this wonderful thread in which Dr Emma Hilton, developmental biologist/legend, hands Tom Harwood, tedious male chauvinist, his own arse on a plate.
Parent Power In New Jersey
New Jersey parents have been successful in their legal action against the school district imposing of gender woo on their kids.
Last summer, a New Jersey school district instructed pupils as young as eight and nine to complete a survey which asked about their gender identity.
The survey drew objections from parents who, after being shut down and ignored by the school board, took legal action. Their case was successful and a court has found that the Cedar Grove school district violated NJ state laws by implementing this survey without parental permission.
Finally Living Up To Its Name
Woman’s Hour interviewed Lisa Mackenzie of Murray Blackburn Mackenzie. She talked about the FOI requests which revealed that SNP minister, Shona Robison, consulted only with trans lobby groups on proposed GRA reform, despite manifesto pledges that the government would hear the views of women’s groups.
Great to hear Woman’s Hour covering this subject. (Interview starts at around 32 minutes.)
Bettr On GETTR
Over on GETTR (because she was banned from Twitter) Dr Holly Lawford-Smith announced some great news about her forthcoming book.
Thanks JL - as always a fine and essential read.
Auntie is spouting dangerously high levels of irony too:
