Monday 16th August - Witch-Burning At Buzzfeed
Buzzfeed ran an item in which “People are sharing the reasons they lost respect for famous people” and claimed it was “Worth the read".
It wasn’t. But its blatant misogynistic agenda is worth a mention. Topping the list of celebrities, which include those accused of racism, rape, abuse and sexually predatory behaviour, is JK Rowling.
Perhaps these cretins should read what she ACTUALLY WROTE.

Trans activists reacted to Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria Awareness Day in a tediously predictable way.
Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria is a term first coined by physician-scientist, Dr Lisa Littman, when a scientific journal published her study involving 256 parental reports of adolescents experiencing ROGD.
Littman examined the phenomenon of adolescents who developed gender dysphoria very suddenly and expressed a desire to transition. She believed that this sudden dysphoria was a coping method for other issues with social contagion a probable cause given the amount of time the teenagers had spent online. (For detailed information see this excellent thread from @genspect.)
In the three years since Littman’s initial publication, the number of adolescents with gender-related issues has continued to soar. The majority of them are teenage girls.
Trans activists refuse to even acknowledge that ROGD, at the very least, needs more research. Instead, gender zealots are determined to ignore and denigrate Littman’s findings in favour of sending hundreds of vulnerable kids down a medical pathway of experimental hormones and major surgery.
And parents like Jude, who fight so hard to protect their vulnerable children from irrevocable harm, are described as ‘the worst parents alive’.
Yet these are the people swearing absolute allegiance to an entirely unscientific and faith-based ideology of gendered ‘feelings’.
Tuesday 17th August - Theatre Of Cruelty
An actor was sent a newly-written copy of a short play with a view to her playing a role in it. This is how the playwright, Eleanor ‘they/them’ Faye, describes the work:
The actor responded to the producers to explain that she had issues with the subject matter and the way it was handled. This is how Eleanor ‘they/them’ Faye reacted:
The actor, Viktoria Kay, replied by publishing her original email in full.
“For emphatic clarity, the trigger warning was… for discussions about drug use and extremely invasive surgeries such as a double mastectomy and deep dissatisfaction /trauma with female body image… Advocating and championing an allegedly seamless track to remove these problems is dangerous, reckless and wilfully omitting negative side effects and/or complications on this medical pathway.”
Eleanor ‘they/them’ Faye continued to behave in a petulant and unprofessional way.
(Some advice, Eleanor; artists cannot and should not control how an audience views or reacts to their work. If you can’t accept criticism or a differing point of view without throwing an infantile tantrum, you’re in the wrong job.)
Diving on to the responses objecting to Eleanor ‘they/them’ Faye’s behaviour was Dian Cathal who “self-identifies as a queer comedian and writer”.
Cathal has written a short play about a trans-identified female trying to develop breast cancer in order to obtain a double mastectomy. It’s a comedy, apparently. This play is being performed at Manchester’s Hope Mill Theatre as part of Hive North’s OutStageUs project.
The so-called “Adventurous celebration of theatre addressing and exploring issues of sexuality and gender identity”, which includes a play that trivialises breast cancer, debilitating dysphoria and young women hating their bodies to the point of irrevocable surgery, is funded by the Arts Council and the National Lottery.

Wednesday 18th August - Male Spearheading Lesbian Venue
EDINBURGH EVENING NEWS: A new venue for ‘queer’ women is to be opened in Edinburgh. By a trans-identified male.
Edinburgh’s first lesbian bar is planned to open in the city centre. Sounds great, doesn’t it? Except that spearheading the project is a trans-identified male, Emily ‘she/they’ Frood, who describes himself as ‘a non-binary trans lesbian’.
Frood also describes himself as a ‘high ranking member of the trans lobby’.
Without a trace of irony, Frood told the newspaper that he was disappointed by the ‘lack of active lesbian community’ in Edinburgh. (This dearth of lesbian spaces couldn’t possibly be the result of men swarming all over every attempt to establish one, could it?) He went on to say, “There is an important distinction between being LGBT+ and being a queer woman.” There is certainly a distinction between being a heterosexual male and being a lesbian, that’s for sure, Emily.
Thursday 19th August - Labour Losing Women #1
Joan Smith, a veteran campaigner against and expert in the field of male violence against women, has been sacked from her role in Sadiq Khan’s administration.
Author of Home Grown: How Domestic Violence Turns Men Into Terrorists and Misogynies (amongst others), Joan Smith literally the wrote the book on fighting violence against women. For eight years she has been the co-chair of the Mayor of London’s Violence Against Women and Girls Board, an unpaid and voluntary position, and has worked tirelessly to protect women and girls from violence and abuse.
Last year Smith wrote to Sadiq Khan, concerned that women’s charities funded by City Hall felt under growing pressure to admit intact trans-identified males. She stated that she believed transwomen should have access to the services they need but that traumatised female victims of male violence should not have to share safe spaces with ‘individuals who have male bodies’.
Sadiq Khan never afforded Smith the courtesy of a response.
Similarly, Khan ignored correspondence from Labour Women’s Declaration.
Last week Joan Smith was informed, by email, that her position had been terminated.
Diana Luchford, a former Home Office civil servant and current CEO of The Mayor’s Office for Policing & Crime (MOPAC) is now the chair of the Violence Against Women and Girls Board.
Dr Shonagh Dillon’s open letter to Sadiq Khan makes clear why female-only spaces are vital to women who have suffered male violence.
If you would like to support Joan Smith and protest her dismissal, please sign this letter to the Mayor of London.
Friday 20th August - Another Battle In Culloden
INVERNESS COURIER: Culloden Academy has replaced all school toilets with mixed sex facilities without consulting parents, pupils or local councillors.
Culloden Academy is one of the largest schools in the Scottish Highlands with over 1000 pupils.
During the summer vacation the school removed all of its single-sex toilets and replaced them with ‘gender neutral’ facilities. It seems the decision was taken by the Highland Council without consulting or even informing parents and local councillors. The council claims this was done to reduce vandalism.
11 year old girls just starting secondary school have to share toilet facilities with 17 and 18 year old boys to prevent someone taking a Sharpie to the tiling? Really?
Concerned parents have set up a Facebook page to protest this decision.
This post from a 16-year-old girl demonstrates the deleterious effect the policy will have on the school’s female pupils.
Saturday 21st August - Labour Losing Women #2
THE CRITIC: Long-time political campaigner and women’s rights activist, Judith Wright, describes the Labour Party’s ‘woman problem’.
The online women’s conference in June rejected a motion, which Wright drafted, to re-endorse Labour’s manifesto commitment to women’s sex-based rights.
The conference continued in this vein with the chair insisting that trans-identified males be prioritised in its proceedings. Women’s healthcare issues were not on the agenda at all and when violence against women was discussed, a trans-identified male was given the opportunity to speak ahead of women denied a voice.
When Judith Wright tried to highlight the urgent need for a discussion on sex-based rights and to challenge the rejection of her motion, she was interrupted throughout and then cut off altogether, the only speaker to be obstructed in this way.
“Like countless other Labour women, I have spent the last few years battling to get the party to publicly support sex-based rights for women and girls as well as asking that they condemn the abuse levelled at those of us who defend these rights. Many of us have been completely ignored by anyone with any clout. We also face untold harassment and aggression from members of our local parties…
The disdain that some in Labour have for women who want to protect our sex-based rights is appalling. People in leadership roles have either ignored us or tried (and sometimes managed) to silence us. Misogynists in the party are at liberty to dish out vitriol against us as and when they please.”
Sunday 22nd August - Unholy Alliance Prioritises Self-ID In Scotland
THE SUNDAY TIMES: The Scottish government intends to hurry through self-ID legislation.
The policy programme agreed between the SNP and the Scottish Green Party last week means that self-ID legislation will be a priority for the Scottish government.
Under the proposals, anyone could alter their legal sex without any medical evidence or diagnosis after just three months of ‘living in their new gender’ (whatever that means). Furthermore, the minimum age will be lowered from 18 to 16.
Marion Calder, director of For Women Scotland, accused the SNP of breaking its manifesto promise to work with women on this issue and to address concerns about the impact on single-sex services. She said, “This move to self-identification is quite frankly ludicrous and, of course, it will be abused as we have seen in countries that have already implemented self-ID... We believe our laws should be based on science and evidence.”
In order to tell the Scottish goverment it’s a definite #NoThankYou to self-ID, do join the demonstration on 2nd September.
Women Won’t Wheesht.
See you next week.
"High ranking member of the trans lobby" is saying the quiet part loud isn't it? I thought they were poor victims and the idea they were an organised group of men focused on legal changes was a terf conspiracy?
So waiting lists for mental health and clinical assessment are too long, so just rejig the criteria and lower or remove threshholds to make the need for any assessment disappear. And this is to 'reduce trauma'. This is not what trauma informed care is or means.
Just pretend the issue isn't there, and it goes away. Magic. And the only people objecting, or advising caution can be dismissed by calling them TERFs and bigots. How can this be stopped? There will be a party whip so I can't see objections happening or how this will be stopped. It's all sewn up?
And a lesbian bar for men who 'identify' as women? What is the legal underpinning now for how anyone can 'identify'? I thought it was 'gender reassignment' that was a protected characteristic, not 'gender identity' under the Equality Act 2010. This is surely indirect discrimination of those already within or holding that characteristic and status?
But now 'complex gender identities' may fall within the definition of gender reassignment? What are the legal profession up to? Your gender identity 'journey' can now be as little as three months at age 16? You can't drive or vote, but you can lop off your breasts or genitals and take drugs that will cause untold, irreversible damage?
