Just some of the good news stories from the gender beat this week… Enjoy!
For The Reading List
A vital new book aimed at the parents of gender-confused children is due out in October. ‘When Kids Say They’re Trans’ is written by Stella O’Malley, Lisa Marchiano and Sasha Ayad and can be pre-ordered now.
“Written by three mental health professionals who collectively have decades of experience working with adolescents struggling with issues of gender, Is My Child Trans? is a resource designed for those parents who do not think that hasty affirmation or medicalization is the best way to ensure the long-term health and well-being of their child— or who simply wish to explore other approaches.”
A Level Playing Field
In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott signed the ‘Save Women’s Sports’ bill into law. He was joined by a number of female athletes, including Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan, at the Texas Women’s Hall of Fame in Denton for the signing.
This legislation prohibits biological males from competing in the female categories of college-level athletic competitions. It also allows people to seek redress against a Texas public college, university or intercollegiate athletic team should it violate the provisions of the bill.
Self-Explanatory
Music star, Ne-Yo, has rejected an apology made on his behalf and reaffirmed his opposition to the medicalising of gender distressed children.
US singer, songwriter and record producer, Ne-Yo, gave an interview last week with Gloria Velez on Vlad TV. He expressed his opposition to even just the concept of ‘sex changes’ for minors. He was, of course, subject to the usual trans activist vitriol on social media and accused of ‘transphobia’. His publicist issued a groveling apology on his behalf on social media.
But Ne-Yo wasn’t going to be browbeaten into silence and he posted a video on his Instagram account to his 4 million followers. “This is something I feel very strongly on and I need y'all to hear this from the horse's mouth and not to the publicist's computer”, he said. “I will never be okay with allowing a child to make a decision that detrimental to their life. I will never be okay with that… If I get cancelled for this, then maybe this is a world where they don’t need a Ne-Yo no more. And I got no problem with that.”
That’s the way to do it. Respect & solidarity to you, Ne-Yo.
Senator Of Sense
Another person who has been peaked and horrified by the medical ‘transing’ of children is Senator Gerard Craughwell.
Gerard Craughwell is an independent senator in the Irish parliament. Horrified by the damage being done to gender non-conforming children, he said he ‘made a mistake’ over the 2015 Gender Recognition Act and is now in full support of repealing it.
He will not be scared into the silence by the trans activist bullies, either. “Let’s all just cop on.” Absolutely, Senator. Welcome aboard.
Badminton England Shuttles Cocks
Badminton England has updated its ‘Transgender Policy’ to ensure that, at competition level, at least, the women’s categories will be strictly female only. The men’s category will become an ‘open’ category in which trans and ‘non-binary’ players can compete.
Fuck Around, Find Out…
Steve Wardlow, vociferous gender zealot and self-declared TERF basher, has been forced to apologise to Allison Bailey for his defamatory remarks about her.
Ladies & Gentlemen
The government intends to protect female-only toilets in public places. All new buildings open to the public will have to include single-sex male and female facilities under plans just announced.
Kemi Badenoch, the Minister for Women and Equalities, told The Telegraph, “Women should have exclusive access to public toilet facilities reserved specifically for them”.
Great news about the independent MP in Ireland and his unequivocal stance. It takes just a few determined, courageous people in positions of power to say 'No'. Let's all keep saying 'No'. Unequivocally, just like KJK does. I'm listening to her discussion with Jordan Peterson at the moment.
Don’t you just love it when TRAs make grovelling apologies?!
