Posie On The Campaign Trail

Kellie-Jay Keen announced that her newly formed political party, Party of Women, is about ready to launch. She aims to take full advantage of what she describes as the disarray in British politics.

“We’re going to hit the ground running, we’re going to ask you to commit… We are going to take this country by storm and then we’re going to conquer the world!”

The Wheels Are Coming Off

Vanderbilt University Medical Centre (VUMC) has been obligated to hand over the medical records of transgender patients to the Tennessee Attorney General’s office.

Vanderbilt University Medical Centre in Nashville opened a specialist transgender healthcare clinic in 2018 and then extended its services to a paediatric gender clinic within its children’s hospital. Last year, an investigation uncovered some deeply disturbing findings about the clinic and its practices, which we reported on.

Now the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General is investigating the so-called ‘transgender care’ at VUMC and has required the facility to provide complete copies of transgender patient medical records.

Diversion Of Justice

Last week we reported that the trans activist thug who’d punched a 71-year-old woman in the face at the Standing For Women event in Auckland had managed to evade a prison sentence and a criminal record by virtue of a ‘police diversion’.

Speaking to Sean Plunket on The Platform, the victim, ‘Emily’, said that this diversion has not been granted after all and, as far as she knows, the perpetrator will be facing court proceedings, probably in July.

Elon Cissed Off Trans Activists

Owner and chairman of Twitter, Elon Musk, has said that the terms ‘cis’ and ‘cisgender’ will be treated as slurs on his platform and accounts could face suspension for using them.

Gender critical campaigner, James Esses, had commented that he faced abuse for stating that he did not wish to be called ‘cis’. Musk tweeted in response that “The words ‘cis’ or ‘cisgender’ are considered slurs on this platform. Repeated, targeted harassment against any account will cause the harassing accounts to receive, at minimum, temporary suspensions”.

A Level Playing Field

In North Carolina this week, the Senate voted to prevent trans-identified males from playing on female school sports teams.

House Bill 574 states that a “Student’s sex shall be recognized based solely on the student’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth”.

Leaving Them Kids Alone

In other news from North Carolina, the House Health Committee advanced a bill which could ban state facilities from medicalising gender-confused children.

The proposed legislation would ban “A public healthcare facility, or a health care provider employed by or under contract with a public health care facility, to perform a surgical gender transition procedure on a minor or to provide or dispense puberty-blocking drugs or cross-sex hormones to a minor”.

The bill now advances to the Senate.
