There remains out there too many people who still think this fight is about transexuals, so it’s great that Johann Lamont has brought attention to the fact that Stonewall’s trans umbrella is so wide that it would have covered Les Dawson when he was in ‘girl mode’.
“Ms Lamont is also seeking further changes under the freedom of expression that would protect people for "asserting, advancing or rejecting any proposition ... that sex is a physical, binary characteristic that cannot be changed".
Another change would be to remove people who "cross-dress" from the definition of transgender identity.
That move would also be rejected by the Scottish government and is not supported by transgender activists.”
Of course it isn’t, because this is a men’s rights movement.
Scotland’s hate crime bill also protects Emilia Decaudin, who stole a seat on the NY Dems state Democratic Committee that had gone to women for over 100 years and Phillip/Pippa Bunce - proud father, mother, husband and wife who dresses up as a woman a couple of days a week.
But it doesn’t protect the women whose reality they are appropriating and colonising.
Lamont also brought attention to the fact that it’s women’s meetings that are targeted with threats and violence—Julie Bindel was attacked outside the one she describes here.
Sometimes I forget to press the email thingy so people might have missed this about that disgraceful Guardian cover.
The dipshits responsible are already scrambling to undo the damage.
And finally, just in case you were in any doubt as to whether Big Tech is determined to shove this stuff down all our throats, there is this extraordinary story.
Transexuals? Please, It’s not even about dysphoria any more. You gotta look out for your male cross-dressing comedians.
If this was only about transexuals, I doubt we'd be having 1/16th of the problems in this debate. All the women (and men) I talk to about this issue are, to some extent, completely unaware that the term "trans" literally has no borders. I think a good strategy to fight back now is cracking this info wide open. Looks like the Scottish bill is already doing some of that work.
The most damaging and unstoppable, albeit, at one point, most polite, surrender society gave over with this whole trans movement was to adopt on a wide scale the terms "trans women" and "trans girls." Debates are framed as "these mean girls just won't accept these lonely trans girls." It automatically lights up the sympathetic part of people's brains, men and women, who all remember the queen bees of high school days. The focus becomes "Why are some girls such mean girls? Why are girls so cruel to one another?" And not "Why are boys such bullies? Why can't they leave girls alone?"
One of the reasons I ditched my kindle last year is the ability of big tech to change history/text without me knowing. Second hand for me, as less chance anyone has tampered with them. Lets hope there’s no book burning
