You may have seen a flurry of recent stories about American doctors, representing major American hospitals, framing double mastectomies and hysterectomies as if these procedures were equivalent to a tonsillectomy. American liberals are ignoring these stories because they are more frightened of losing power than they are of committing something akin to a peacetime war crime—the mass mutilation of gay and gender nonconforming youth.

Until recently, the Identitarian Left—as represented by people like GLAAD’s Anthony Watson, Amnesty Ireland’s Colm O’Gorman and the ACLU’s Chase Strangio—have succeeded in planting these authoritarian, homophobic, frankly lunatic beliefs in institutions across society, leading to horrific videos like this.

Well, there’s every chance we’ll soon see these cultist beliefs hitting the UK, via our medical schools. What follows is a slightly edited version of a letter I received yesterday. It was also sent to Dennis Kavanagh, who I’m hoping will provide some legal analysis over the weekend.

This GLADD medical schools charter is attempting to put an all-out ban on discussing any factors that could be behind gender confusion with patients, even though that is contrary to the law. Even if this charter is not legally binding, it is still making doctors (and future doctors) think that patients with 'gender identity' can only be affirmed. This will endanger patient care at a time when we need to be reversing these procedures in the NHS, not bringing new doctors into it with the absolute wrong approach to it. 

The GLADD charter is authored by self-proclaimed 'queer medical activists' in high up roles (e.g. two of the authors of the GLADD charter are on the EDI board of the National Medical Schools Council. One of them, Dr Joseph Hartland, identifies as non-binary and 'queer' themselves.

The heads of the medical schools are not questioning this - they are either avid supporters of gender ideology or they are just waving it through due to pressure from their EDI departments. I have personally witnessed activist medical students questioning a head a of medical school in front of hundreds of others “When is the medical school going to sign the GLADD charter, it doesn't look good to your LGBTQ+ students” to which the head said 'Yes, of course, we will be signing it.' I have also seen this happen on Twitter, with activist medical students tagging their medical schools to try and shame them into signing it. 

This link shows the alarming amount of heads of medical schools who have signed this charter and have put their pronouns. Notice how pressure is applied to non-signers by leaving a space for them.
