But, another woman wrote an epic comment. Others liked it. Another lesbian friend said “Amen!” Maybe a few more will look; maybe someone will show bravery. Just one comment... the vaginas that tore during sex were those of teenage girls who had been put on testosterone, which thinned the vaginal walls. Then they had penetrative sex and incurred damage to the tissue, resulting in pain and bleeding and actual torn vaginal walls. They were not "surgically constructed" vaginas.

Even in a menopausal woman who takes testosterone (in a very very low dose, nothing like what these girls are taking), as part of real HRT, if the woman is insufficiently oestrogenised, it worsens vaginal atrophy. TMI - personal experience - horrible.I shudder at what testosterone does to girls who have had their oestrogen completely blocked. This is wickedness.

Once he had been silenced, that was it. Thanks for posting this incredibly brave testimony Graham. Despite all the things I’ve heard and all the things I know about the ideology, this sent shivers down my spine. Will it make a difference? We’ve said that so many times over the past few years so I’m not holding my breath. The comment by Sasha Aguilar explains why….there are too many people who are deliberately blind, deaf and dumb when it comes to the overwhelming evidence of harm from the evil that is gender ideology.

Jamie gets understandably upset and animated when talking about this issue. It is very hard to "show" someone with words what you can "see" so easily. And I believe a great percentage of people still do not understand the activist language of "transgender girl," etc. They think that is an actual female. I hope Graham is correct that her courageous testimony will become a turning point.

Jamie Reed is a hero. She is one of my heroes, as are many of the people not just embroiled in this massive scandal, but who have nonetheless found the strength to go out and fight.
I looked up the context of this testimony - Jamie Reed is traveling around the country giving testimony everywhere these days - and this Assembly Bill 104 is before the Wisconsin legislature; this hearing was held in the Committee on Health, Aging and Long-Term Care on March 12th. The day after this testimony, it was recommended for passage by 10 to 5 members of the committee; next stop is the Committee on Rules (lawmaking is a long process). However, the governor has vetoed a similar bill in the past, and likely will veto this one too.
All the usual suspects say the same ridiculous lies, and the press makes the same absurd failures reporting it.
Transcription note -- The printed text says "Of the 71st children ...". But earlier she had talked about a cohort of 70 children (and some outcomes among those). So at this point it is more of a call-back to them and probably should read "Of the 70 first children..." (meaning, of the first 70 children).
The Dutch study Jamie refers to is the origin of "The Dutch Protocol" in which 70 children with cross sex ideation were recruited, examined for comorbidities and rejected if depression or other mental health issues were involved. Shortly after the intake, 15 dropped out. They should have been followed up. There was not just 1 death but 2. One patient, another natal male, committed suicide shortly after the surgery. (they supposedly did group therapy, did he know about the cohort that dropped out?) Only 33 completed the exit survey and even the administration of that was skewed. Natal males were asked about menstrual pain and natal females were asked about wet dreams. Why is it that responsible researchers won't excoriate De Vries, Steensma, Cohen-Kettenis, et al?
My best answer is that progressive legislators voting to enact gender ideology laws are captured by their own children, who either identify as trans or have schoolmate friends who do.
