The Podcast all Australians need to listen to and share.
The Australian media is like Pravda under the Soviet Union - silencing truth and peddling lies. The Desexing Society podcast aims to break the silence.
The Desexing Society podcast is the most comprehensive and powerful analysis on the reshaping of Australian institutions by gender identity ideology ever produced.
Through gripping interviews and meticulous research, Stassja Frei the writer and producer of the podcast uncovers the stories of women cancelled, silenced, or sidelined for daring to speak out.
From the medicalisation of vulnerable youth to the erosion of women’s single-sex spaces - like prisons, where men like Noel Compton Hall, a convicted murderer have been transferred to women’s facilities under self-ID policies, the podcast exposes what the mainstream media refuse to investigate.
The Desexing Society podcast is a historic record that demands attention. Listen and share with those working with youth, parents of gender confused children, teachers, and everyone who wants to protect the sex-based rights of women.
Stassja Frei – Women’s Rights Activist and creator of Desexing Society podcast
After Stassja Frei read the pivotal essay written by J.K. Rowling on her website in 2020 she said:
I couldn’t understand the backlash, the efforts to cancel, deplatform and threaten violence towards not only J.K. Rowling, but all the women who were speaking out.
The essay inspired Stassja to research the impact of gender identity ideology on women and children in Australia. When Stassja became aware of the number of young people caught up in the craze of trans identification that leads many young people to medicalisation she said:
I’m pretty certain I would have pursued transition. I would have been a ROGD girl (rapid onset gender dysphoria). By the time I was 18, I shaved my head and was quite gender nonconforming. I just know if there was a path out of being at the bottom of the social hierarchy I would have taken it.
The making of the podcast was inspired by a road trip Stassja took from Melbourne to Brisbane in 2023, during which she interviewed ordinary women about the impact of gender ideology on own lives:
I’d been burnt out from two years of non-stop activism and wanted to do something solo. Listening to investigative podcasts such as the BBC’s on QAnon, gave me the idea to produce a podcast that would inform and educate Australians about what’s happening.
Desexing Society explores a range of topics: the amended 2013 Sex Discrimination Act that destroyed women’s rights – the national broadcaster, the ABC captured by trans activist groups - an education system that promotes gender identities to children, and a prison system that permits paedophilic men to be housed with women and babies.
Season One exposes the ‘affirmation-only’ medical model written into the Australian Standards of Care (SOC) that place children who are confused about their identity onto a medical pathway that includes puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and irreversible surgeries.
Many young Australian women are given testosterone and undergo double mastectomies.
Stassja said:
One of the most shocking things I discovered whilst writing Season One was that Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) is treating non-binary girls with testosterone. Dr Michelle Telfer, who pioneered the affirmation model of care in Australia, quite proudly explained in an interview that the hospital gives teenage girls who identify as non-binary just a little bit of testosterone, maybe for six months or so, until their body matches how they feel as a person. I was horrified - non-binary is a fad that will die off soon enough. Those girls are being permanently harmed.
Dr. Michelle Telfer – the leading architect of the Australian SOCs and head of the RCH’s gender clinic was excoriated by Justice Strum in a recent Family Court case. Strum’s judgment criticised Telfer and said her evidence was, ‘misleading, overly binary, and influenced by her advocacy for transgender rights over objective analysis’.
Telfer’s evidence sought to discredit the UK’s Cass Review (a 2024 inquiry that led to the UK banning puberty blockers) suggesting it equated to, ‘Nazi-era persecution of marginalised groups’. Telfer’s comments, ‘cheapened the suffering of victims of Nazism’ and had ‘no place whatsoever in the independent evidence that should be expected of such an expert’ said Strum.
Since the whistleblower WPATH files were published last year exposing the corruption and ideological capture of the biggest transgender medical body in the world - the U.S. gender medicine industry is in free fall. There are multiple court cases in the pipeline - a recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that allows States to withdraw puberty blockers for children - the closure of multiple clinics, and an ongoing Federal Trade Commission investigation into the mis-selling of gender medicine.
Yet the Australian taxpayer-funded Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) and the RCH defend Michelle Telfer and ignore the mounting evidence of harm. The U.S., Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the UK have severely limited access to gender medicine but Australia marches on. The wilful dereliction of political and moral leadership and the failure of our healthcare system is unforgivable. Until more Australians speak out children will continue to be harmed.
Episode 5 of Season One – Unsafe Schools covers the indoctrination of our children and is one of Stassja’s favourites:
The stories from teachers and professionals working in schools were so engaging and demonstrate the impact the transgender belief system is having on kids and on staff who are forced to go along with the ideology that children can be ‘born in the wrong body’ and need to be medicalised.
Season Two has recently been released and includes an investigation on the inclusion of violent and paedophilic men in women’s prisons:
I was shocked to learn of Noel Compton Hall - a man convicted of murder who decided he was a woman and was transferred to a women’s prison and later charged with raping a female prisoner. What shocked me was that this happened in 1999 - long before the latest trans mania took hold of our institutions. But the most shocking part of all is that he’s HIV+. The New South Wales government exposed female inmates to an HIV+ sexual predator. The rape charges were later dropped as the victim moved overseas. It’s abusive and dangerous to house men alongside female prisoners, and this case is a clear example that Australia condones such cruel punishment. Stassja Frei
Season Two also exposes how the loss of women’s rights to single-sex spaces has dismantled a once vibrant lesbian community:
It was a great honour to help tell the story of the Lesbian Space Project in Episode 4. Australian lesbians have been under attack from autogynephilic men since the 1990s. It drove half the lesbian community underground, and they’ve been organising in secret for the last 20 years. It all came to a head with the Lesbian Space Project which was meant to be a cultural centre for lesbians, but autogynephiles wanted access to the space and incredibly, some lesbians wanted to include men who say they’re lesbians in the space.

This podcast is such an eye opener. It’s incredibly detailed, well researched, and excellently presented. It’s refreshing to get an inside view of how this ideology has affected us here in Australia. While we are similar to what has happened overseas, there are some differences that Australians need to understand
