In October 2020 the APPG for Global LGBT+ Rights had 59, yes 59 MP members. That's 9% of the House of Commons! Are they all hoping for freeby holidays paid for by GLAAD and its funders?!

I suspect some of the (less bright!) MPs simply don't understand that "sexual orientation" has nothing to do with "gender identity". I am currently involved in a long exchange with a gay man on a micro-local news website, trying to open his eyes to the deception which was perpetrated on the public by Stonewall in 2015, as we know, after Same Sex Marriage became law and Stonewall needed a new cause to champion. Perhaps it is not so surprising that non-gays understand better than most gays that Stonewall have been falsely trading on their previous good name, and people just don't look.

I've tried to DM Superpip/@life_explored but Twitter says that I cannot DM. So I will publicly message her and put longer version here, if she is reading this.

My MP is Andy Slaughter (Labour). Since 1st Jan 2021 I have e-mailed him 7 times about various aspects of "Sex vs gender". 1st Jan: Kathleen Stock receiving an OBE for standing up for free speech (2) 19th Jan: Flagging up problematic sex question in 2021 Census (3) 3rd Feb: Stonewall gas-lighting schools and colleges (4) 12th Feb: publication of Dr Jane Clare Jones' "Sex and the Census" report (5) 16th Feb: MOMA bill - no mention of woman (6) 2nd March: re Penny Mordaunt's definition of "woman" and (7) Trans conversion therapy debate in HoC - can I find out if he attended this??

Andy will gladly spout Labour policy to me about the NHS or his own pro-EU views on Brexit - we agree on these! But about "trans" he is as silent as the grave.

If you write to your MP about pot-holes, overflowing bins or bees you'll get a reply. If you include the word ' woman' or the phrase 'as a mother of daughters' forget about a response.

I wrote to my MP, Philip Davies (Con) Shipley, W. Yorks, about the barbarity that is males in women's prisons. He agrees with me. He passed my letter on to the then-minister for prisons & probation Lucy Frazer QC MP (Con South East Cambs). She replied with concerns about care, concern and respect for TiMs. Not bothered about women qua women (I think I got that 'qua' from one of Glinner's podcasts and I use it all the time now). Frazer seemed convinced that there had been all round consultations, nobody was put at risk, everything in the garden was rosy.

I wrote to my local MSP a while back about women’s rights and had assumed he never replied. Just found out he actually did! I must have overlooked it because I first got the auto-reply.

Using a template from FWS the other week, I wrote to 8 MSPs regarding the Hate Crime Bill. They actually all replied but the Labour responses seemed to go all around the houses to get to the point, which didn’t really get to the point. I think only the Conservative MSP said they wouldn’t vote for the bill. Shocking.

Interesting. How do you know if your MP is on the list. I have written on women’s Issues and no reply. She is Florence Eshalomi.

WOW! ..happy to "pretend" to be public servants while only servants to those who they obey.

And on our money.

Kezia Dugdale is neither in the SNP nor an MP. In fact, she resigned as Labour leader in the Scottish Parliament a couple of years ago, and then resigned her seat to take up a cushy job at Glasgow Uni.
