Perfect. He also has THE most irritating voice (close competitor to Laurie Penny).

I think this is one I won't have the guts to listen to straight away. That Womanhood documentary was bad enough but this bloke is generally well-respected.

I used to be such a fan. It's just so sad. I still can't believe he doesn't want to see the monstrosity of trans activism.

Jon Ronson uncovers strange but true stories from the history of the culture wars in a new Radio 4 series and podcast

Jon Ronson’s new Radio 4 series and podcast Things Fell Apart tells eight strange, unexpected and deeply human stories from the history of the culture wars

https://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/2021/radio-4-jon-ronson-things-fell-apart

Deeply obscure stories it would seem...it does not appear to touch on anything relevant today!

Oh yes the trans one will be so wishy washy … you will probably coming away thinking ... so what does he actually think.!

That's excellent. I enjoyed 'The Butterfly Effect' but I won't be listening to this as I couldn't care less what he has to say on the Culture Wars, or on anything these days. A documentary-maker who's scared to answer basic questions on women's rights/safety and on child-safeguarding, has no right to be acting the role of 'impartial inquisitor.'

That apart, his 'faux-naive' shtick has grown very old and is now just creepy.

It's fantastic, but loss of sexual function comes up twice. Maybe one should be loss of fertility?

You can see it coming a mile off: “All critics of anything trans related are bigots, evangelicals, right-wingers... “. The simpering and now somewhat sinister Ronson.

Shouldn't that be "Genderbread Person"?

I'm still a fan. Didn't use to be in the 90s because of his voice but he really searches for true stories and their roots and unravelings. I don't know if he should have to have an opinion, isn't it better that he tries to remain impartial but still pique people's interest in the foundations of this creepy tide? I'm not Jon Ronson btw.
