Of course the journalism wasn't from the 'journalists'. It came from readers of conscience. People (all women?) caring on their own time/dime about the dissemination of truthful information, where damage to children is instead being pressed. About the importance of public critique of an incomprehensibly ignorant, harm-pushing position taken – unbelievably – by the man tasked with acting on behalf of Irish children. (Can that be true? Who is this ignorant poseur? How did he get this position?)

Great stuff... although I am left wondering how many men wrote in protest.

yep in US newspapers anymore the only sanity you will see is in LTTE. Except in Christian newspapers and their motives are completely different than GC people. I finally deleted my last twitter account today. The problem with the social media complex is it tricks people into thinking that is reality. It needs to die. Those psychopathic tech geeks have really ruined the world and become billionaires doing so. In the US the Equality Act threatens the religious freedom act so that's why the right wing is up in arms but their Fairness for All act throws women under the same bus the EQ does. I've given up and am serious considering become an ascetic (not even joking). I won't eat grubs and catepillars, but everything else is on the table.

Delighted to see there is real and vocal support for reality. Muldoon is utterly unfit for purpose

Excellent. The paper may be fooled or playing along but its readers aren't. Good to see. Maybe they're better informed because they follow other sources for their journalism - like Glinner!

A heartening glimpse of everyday sanity .

With regard to gender I have heard that men are far less likely to initially encourage the child trans spell, though if if mum/carer/sister etc is enthusiastic, the man will go along with it.

I'm a bit late finding out about this. Were there any developments? Did Niall Muldoon respond to the letter? That someone in his position has those attitudes is scary.
