I think the Very British Problems Tweet graphic could be rather telling. For a large and popular account that has zero history of proclaiming anything either way on this subject, I do wonder if it is a surreptitious 'nailing of colours to a mast', so to speak.
Black Books, The IT Crowd and Father Ted are obvious connections, as is Gervais. Cleese is very anti-w*ke and Webb has also spoken out.
When the above information is taken on its own merit, then perhaps I could be accused of reaching for a positive explanation that is not there... But when one considers the great sitcoms and comedy series that were left out - think Python, Yes Minister, Blackadder, et al - then perhaps it is not so much of a long shot.
If males pretending to be women is brave and males pretending to be trans women is "mocking" then being a trans woman isn't really like being a woman at all is it.

I'm having difficulties finding it on Twitter to note the time/date time etc. Naively I keep being astonished that police officers can be trans rights activists so blithely and expect to be able to police without fear of favour.Ghastly person.
Who could possibly have guessed that a man who enjoys putting on women's knickers to flash a room full of kids, would turn out to have a sexual interest in kids? If only there had been some sort of clue...
Update. I filled out a formal complaint to Professional Standards Leics Police. Part of the form has a compulsory tick box on the discrimination section. 9 characteristics stated, not one of them 'sex'.So I also included an complaint about the complaint form! FS.
Its relentless and exhausting this daft and sinister police nonsense. Pointed out that the characteristic of 'sex' was missing and that gender was not a characteristic in the Equality Act 2010 and told them they need to be better aquainted with the law their supposed to uphold. Dickheads.
It is interesting they are trying to invoke heroines of the Irish revolution to support the TRA cult. Yesterday on twitter I was reading some Irish man (I don’t know who but I think he was a public figure) claiming that transphobia is imported to Ireland. So I wonder if TRAs are trying to position it that if you are Irish and holding gender critical views you are somehow brainwashed and oppressed by the British empire or at least you are being anti-Irish. I am not Irish but I just observed that and wondered if that was what someone was trying to imply.
I noted with interest that Jesse Singal this week said that people criticising drag queen shows are "fragile". Explicit drag queen shows that link virginity loss and Disney.

THEY'RE in CHARGE of the Western World right now ,with their every demand being eagerly met by the authorities,endangering women and children in the process !! It's no surprise that when 'gender' confusion propaganda is being introduced into younger and younger children's classrooms, we have Men in Drag popping up at toddler Library Story Hours. Get 'em younger and younger. Mommy, is that man a woman? Is that woman a man? Start them early in the 'belief' that men can pretend to be women. MEN presenting sexualized versions of women do NOT belong in Children's Story Hours with their newly published picture books of indoctrination. I'm no longer using the word 'Queen' either. Stolen language, another theft from women, bestows unwarranted 'womanly' affirmation upon these MEN IN DRAG. There's nothing 'queenly' about them.
Fantastic article by that teacher. Every headteacher in the land needs to read it. I am sending it to my school. (Where notably the LGBT club is run by a straight, young, "cool" female teacher all the students love).

Jentoft and Amnesty are both seriously taking the piss and think they're very big and clever conniving smugly like this while Christina Ellingsen is under police investigation for stating basic biological truth.
