That man signed up by Forbes to speak for women — when I was on twitter, I truly thought he was brilliantly sending up the ideology. That he was a gender critical comedian. That’s how whacko the whole movement and its adherents are. That I actually, truly thought he was poking fun at the whole nonsensical ideology. Turns out he’s just making a buck off the disastrous movement. Think he’s also got a deal with Tampax, or some other period product company. Guess it’s near impossible to parody parody.

You know what is insane to me? That people are sticking up for monsterclownboobs as if those humungous knockers are something naturallly found on women. It's mocking women. I can't understand how Boob Teacher's real name hasn't been confirmed yet. Surely someone in his neighbourhood or a colleague or former colleague would have confirmed this (anonymously) on social media by now? It boggles my mind that this man walked into a staffroom and wasn't marched out immediately on the first day he showed up like that.

Several things going on here. This is the approriation of the kinds of materials used to support some autistic children with sensory sensitivity. This reinforces the link between ASC and gender dysphoria as it suggests that enough participants at the fair will need them. Secondly, the items at this adult event are infantilising and insulting. Adult autistic people are...adults. The majority go about their day without the need for lollies and massive coloured lanyards that they expect everyone to read and digest. Third,lly, there is the adoption of autism as another "identity" to be exploited. The link between ASC and trans is there. But instead of thinking about the troubling issue of offering horrendous and unnecessary surgery to autistic youth, we're in a world where autism is being used by some young people as something that'll get you noticed. Plenty of attention, especially if you demand it. Autism is very fashionable and visible online, and people are increasingly self-identifying as autistic. Some may well be autistic, but the wholesale adoption as yet another "identity" to wave around and insist on validation is having an effect on the perception of autism by the general public and is diluting meaningful discussion around how to support those who really are. Interestingly, some self-identified autistic people really hate parents of children with ASC who find it hard to parent a non-verbal child who may have really challenging behaviours at times. Kids with the level of autism that precludes them from joining with Instagram or Facebook or making Tik Tok videos. Typically, the parents admitting they're struggling are mums, and typically a branch of the noisily self-identified autistic folk are happy to launch unbelievably vicious comments on these women, who apparently - and inevitably - 'invalidate' the self-identified folks' lives with their slur of having kids that have been diagnosed with autism.
These women and their actual lives and voices and challenges. They need just to shut up and validate, right?

Actually "LGBT+ kids" is an oxymoron. Kids, by definition, haven't reached puberty. So there's no way they can be sure of their sexuality yet.
