It truly baffles me how a fairly strict Catholic country creates a GRA before abortion was legal. Is Ireland's extreme woke attitude some sort of apology for being too far in the opposite direction previously. It's just so bizarre how a country like this is so zealous on this topic. I am so glad that Scotland was stopped by Westminster from enacting its self-ID legislation. A benefit that nationalists forget when bumping their gums about independence. Self-ID doesnt just impinge on the rights of women, it removes their rights to single sex spaces and makes all spaces mixed sex. If a man wants access, it is a simple thing to self-ID without making any changes to self and then there is no way to stop him using these spaces in any way he wants. Decent men stay out of women's spaces because they know people cannot tell a good man from a bad one. Bad men will do anything to get what they want as is seen by those found guilty of sex crimes who suddenly decide they are women for access to the female estate. Governments who ignore this have no regard and only contempt for women. They do not see them as equal citizens. The politicians and civil servants in these governments are up there with the states they criticise for human rights abuses, such as China, Iran, and Afghanistan. They have thrown out CEDAW to pander to men. If the UN had teeth, it would really call them out publicly, but unfortunately the UN seems to be captured too. Rant over!
The Gender Recognition Act drips with malignant consequences.
Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that it endangers many more people than it helps.
