Graham Linehan combines a deep understanding of comedy’s inner
workings with first-hand experience of the price of free expression.
About Graham
Graham Linehan is a five-time BAFTA-winning comedy writer and author
whose work has helped shape British and Irish comedy for decades. Beginning his
career in London’s music press, he soon turned to television,
co-creating Father Ted, The IT Crowd, and Black Books—three of the
most acclaimed sitcoms of the past 30 years.
More recently, Graham has become known for his outspoken
defence of women’s and children’s rights, and for his willingness to
take an unpopular stand in public life. The experience has given him a unique perspective on the looking-glass world in which we all suddenly find ourselves.
Now based in the United States, Graham brings intelligence, humour,
and honesty to his live appearances. Whether discussing the structure
of a great joke or the challenges of speaking freely in the digital
age, his talks combine sharp insight with humanity and wit.
He has appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, The Megyn Kelly Show, and many other platforms. His talks leave audiences entertained, informed, and thoughtful.
