Of course the teaching of gender ideology is hugely responsible for the huge rise in numbers of children identifying as trans. Where were all the ‘trans children’ ten years ago? How has it taken so long for this to be recognised? And how long before police and judicial systems wake up to the fact that they’re pushing state sanctioned sexual abuse? 🤬

Thanks JL. It never fails to shock me just how many bloody stupid people there are on the planet.

Thanks for the links and stories. Though a rather depressing litany of the rather psychotic behaviour of various transwomen -- mostly male transvestites if they still have their nuts attached, and sexless eunuchs if they don't.

But I think this bit from the first story from The Times -- "Sex education programme blamed for rise in number of trans children" -- underlines the rank insanity of the whole phenomenon. And, arguably, the cluelessness and scientific illiteracy of both those supposedly "educating" the young, and those trying to turn the transloonie tide:

Times: "[Dr. Jenny Cunningham, of the campaign group Scottish Union for Education] added: 'The guidance advises teachers that they should not question a child or young person’s expressed desire to transition to the opposite sex.' ..."

If Ms. Cunningham is accurately stating the case then one might reasonably wonder how it is that those "teachers" can possibly be allowing the children supposedly in their care to think such changes are even possible. Or, to begin with, how it is that those "teachers" are so scientifically illiterate, or ideologically captured to think likewise.

Absolutely NO ONE changes sex -- despite the desperate insistence to the contrary of too many transloonie nutcases, and their fellow-travelers and useless & useful idiots. Apropos of which, y'all might consider this Substack post which gives chapter and verse, a veritable rogue's gallery of those insisting that such changes are possible:

"Is it really true that 'no one's denying the reality of biological sex'? There seems to be a lot of people doing that thing that 'no one' is doing":

https://speakingplainly.substack.com/p/is-it-really-true-that-no-ones-denying

Of particular note therein is a tweet by UK transwoman India Willoughby:

Willoughby: "The only difference between trans women and most cis women is having babies and periods. That’s it. In all other ways, we biologically and factually change sex.": https://x.com/IndiaWilloughby/status/1558101840755056646

But that "having babies and periods" is the whole flaming ballgame. That is, more or less, the essential trait, the sine qua non of "female": i.e., produces large gametes (AKA ova). No ovaries, not a female. Do not pass Go; do not collect $200. Case closed -- with extreme prejudice.

Absolutely astounding that those teachers are apparently so clueless about basic biology as to even countenance some "young person's expressed desire to transition to the opposite sex.' ..." Though one might reasonably argue that it is equally astounding that Cunningham, and apparently many others in her tribe, aren't reacting with absolute horror that that is what is apparently being peddled in the name of "sex education".

Clearly, a whole bunch of people, on all sides of the issue, need some remedial courses in basic biology. The standard biological definitions for the sexes might be a good place to start for everybody:

"Female: Biologically, the female sex is defined as the adult phenotype that produces the larger gametes in anisogamous systems.

Male: Biologically, the male sex is defined as the adult phenotype that produces the smaller gametes in anisogamous systems."

"female, adjective: Of or denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) which can be fertilized by male gametes.

male, adjective: Of or denoting the sex that produces gametes, especially spermatozoa, with which a female may be fertilized or inseminated to produce offspring."
